My first time trying this brand, and honestly I’m not disappointed in it at all. Just use it like you would a regular powdered detergent. Our dog was attacked recently so she’s been having some potty issues in her sleep. I just give her stuff a quick rinse in the washer to rinse the urine out, then I put it through a heavy duty load with the recommended amount using the scoop provided. It literally just looks like regular white powdered detergent and it smells like fresh linen. It’s definitely pet safe and safe to use on things like toys and it lifts up any stains the item might have as if it was never there. I do wish the bag was bigger for the price so it would last longer, I think this bag will last me a month or so. But other than that it’s super simple to use and versatile with its application.

Excellent product. My cat used to get very nervous when it was windy outside and would scent mark blankets on the bed. I started using fliway plug–ins to help him feel safer and that worked for behavior, but not for marking. Vet explained that cats often urine mark places where they've marked before so it's critical to get all the scent out of any blankets. Regular detergents can remove the scent for humans but cats can still smell it. Sure enough after using this laundry detergent not a single new mark, even though we had some horrible wind storms. Product is definitely good quality, fragrance and scent free, well packaged, good stain remover, pretty versatile and easy to use. it's a powder that can be added to laundry loads. It looks like a smaller package but its extremely concentrated so you actual quantity is good (especially if you aren't washing with it frequently).

Love this so far. We have 7 dogs total, 3 large, 3 medium and 1 small. When weather doesn't permit, they have accidents. We have towels we lay down for these accidents. I used the product and it worked very well. The towels came out clean and smelling good.

I have a one year old medium sized dog and use reusable pee pads inside the house when we can't go for potty breaks outside. This detergent works great for getting the pee smell out and I love that I only need one small scoop in my HE washing machine. It is the cheapest detergent I have found so far that works and I will likely be reordering when this bag runs out.

I use this for pee pads that my elderly diabetic dog uses. Truth is she's a street rescue and I never could get her to pee consistently outside. Oh it's raining (which it does 200 days a year here)? She surely can't get her paws wet when there's this perfect bath mat to use. Or rug. Or shirt you just changed out of . I've lost the battle folks. As others have pointed out it's best to flush the pads first with running water to remove as much urine as possible. Then I use buckets to pre-soak in the cleaner for about 24 hours. l then rinse before running through the wash with another few scoops. I do use a lot of the cleaner to get the smells out but it's the best solution I've found. I love that it's unscented as every other scented product I use eventually smells like me to me by association. I've found it makes a fantastic detergent for my sweaty kids' clothes and socks also. It's pricey but works better than every other detergent strategy I've tried. I've easily gone through 30 pounds of this at this point and I'll continue to buy it.

Works great if you put it in a tub of hot water, mix it up and let the soiled items soak in there like dog diapers for example, let them soak for a couple hours then drain the bin they were soaking in throwing your wash and then wash them with this detergent that way you don’t run the risk of your laundry machine smelling like urine and the smell goes completely away in the soiled item.

Active Pet Laundry Detergent Odor Removal Powder is absolutely amazing. My husband and I got a new puppy and she's having a few accidents on my carpet. So cleaning up her urine is a slight hassle right now. I bought this to get the urine smell out of the towels and rugs that she's urinated on. I've had to put 2 scoops in the washer and they come out smelling brand new. This is a complete game changer for anyone who owns pets and they have accidents in your house or apartment. I've also added a few scoops to the hot water in my carpet cleaner to clean the areas where she keeps urinating. I did a test spot first and there were no problems. It didn't bleach or discolor my carpet. ACTIVE PRODUCTS IS MY GO TO WHEN NOTHING ELSE WORKS. ACTIVE has figured out how to get the stinky Pet smells out of everything that your pets touch.
