Im 6'1" 235 lbs 36 inch waist jeans and a little thick around the middle. I went for the large size in blue. I fit in the seat fine but you might be really tight if you are much bigger in the hips . the seat has broken in a bit with a few weeks of drive time and gotten more comfortable and comes with side brackets and some hardware. the seat is stiff and always for good driving position and gives good support when getting on stiff 100kg loadcell brake. the bottom pad can be a little stiff after a few hours of continuous driving but has gotten better as the seat has started to brake in. the cove material is soft and comfy and looks good the sparkle back is a little extra imho but my gal loves it. as this is a true bucket seat it can get a bit hot and sweaty as there is little to no airflow because it cradles so close to your body so a fan or ac is a great idea. pretty much all racing bucket seats are this way. they are designed to keep you in place and help drive fast, deal with loads and keep relatively comfortable while doing so. I would not recommend putting in actual car especially if you plan on tracking it due to the fact it is not fia certified and can't for sure be deemed crash safe. and wont pass tec bottom line if you are looking for a bucket seat for yoour sim look no further as you save a ton over an fia certified seat of similar style and construction and will fill this roll perfectly. unless you are trying to 1-1 your actual car setup for training where if you have the extra dough laying around i would put in another of your actual race seat ( if your actual seat is a few years old and out of fia cert take it out and put it in your sim then new one in the car) for fiberglass seats the fia cert is generally 5 years from date of manufatuing so be wary of this and go somewhere in person or email and ask for most recent if buying a seat though mail to get most recent seat so you can get full life in your racecar.

This is no doubt a great seat! I was nervous about buying this seat because all the reviews saying they were counterfeit, cheap, warped, etc. I can confirm that is not the case here. The seat I received is excellent and made very well. There is absolutely no flex in the seat whatsoever and it's very rigid. I installed it today and it has transformed my sim racing rig into an entirely different rig! I can brake much harder than with my previous seat and it doesn't move a bit. It's fairly comfortable but could use a little more cushion for the lumbar area which a few other people have stated, although it's far from a deal breaker and I plan on buying a memory foam lumbar support anyway. If you buy this seat, make sure you are buying from Amazon directly and not another third party reseller. I think the third party sellers are where the fake seats are being sold. When I purchased the seat it said "shipped and sold by Amazon" and I received an authentic seat with zero defects. My mounting brackets were perfectly aligned and everything mounted to my rig in about 15 minutes! If you are on the fence about this seat because of the negative reviews you read on here, don't be. This seat is absolutely fantastic, looks great and is solidly built!

I have had it about 3 months so far. I am 5'8'' 213lbs, muscular thighs and shoulders. The fit is good, the shoulders are a tiny bit crowded, but not really a big deal. I would have liked a black back instead of the glitterbomb, it kinda grows on ya, but... It needs lumbar support, you can see the roll my wife made for me to compensate in the picture. The butt cushion is already too soft, I feel my bones are on the fiberglass already, that shouldn't be at this price point.

As some others have said, it appears the holes for the side brackets are not even on each side. It causes the brackets to sit uneven both in height and front to rear spacing. If you’re handy, you’ll find a way to work with it, but if you’re bolting straight to a floor bracket with no sliders, it gets pretty rough. Mine simply would not line up. The sliders at least allow for some level of correction in the front to back misalignment. Another issue is with the included hardware. The bolts are just too long, no matter how you flip them. They will either interfere with slider movement, or they will interfere with adjusting the side brackets to sit the seat lower. The last issue is also on the latter - Even if you get shorter bolts to allow clearance enough to drop the seat lower on the side bracket holes, you still cant use the lowest hole setting. I ended up using sliders, buying new hardware and modifying the brackets to sit level. It was a bit of a pain, but the seat itself is very good quality. Lastly, the back is extremely gold on the version I bought. I don’t mind too much, but in the photos it looked black with glitter… it is very very gold with glitter.

However, the mounting holes in the back of mine are at different heights, so it's impossible for me to mount it without it being warped and uneven. Of course I realized this after my return window closed, so I'm stuck with it now. Beware the quality control.
