While looking for a replacement vest, I came across this light-up harness and knew would be way better for her safety! She tried it on and we took it for a run right away. after some adjusting, the Large fit her wide chest just fine (she weighs about 55-60 pounds). Her armpits did not chafe and I enjoyed clicking through the different light setting - solid color, blinking, rainbow, etc. She remained really well-lit and highly visible on our run. I did eventually clip her leash to the harness itself and it did not feel weak or flimsy.

The media could not be loaded. To preface this: I had previously bought a Reddy brand Fiber Optic Vest that was sub-par and only lasted a year. So I have a comparison in mind when writing this review - I’m so so so happy I found this! I have to walk my dog in the dark a lot (late nights, early mornings) and this makes me feel much safer that people can see us from any direction and distance! It’s a durable material. The reflective material itself glows amazingly. The battery pack is protected by a thick silicone. It’s all season, rechargeable, AND WASHABLE!!!! My dog is a puller so I do not intend on using this as a harness (not connecting his leash to it), just as a vest over his harness. I got him the size large as he is an Aussiedoodle so he has a short stature with the chest size of a standard poodle and it fits amazing and he seems really comfortable in it.

Works well for us. Definitely makes my black lab show up at night. And all the fun colors and rotating colors are fun. The harness is light and simple which works well on my dog who does not like a harness. I do not and would not attach a leash to the harness it feels to thin and I think would pull on the dog's "arm pit". The battery pack sits between the shoulder blades which helps it not slide around.

Overall a great product. Bright, long lasting battery, provides the security we were looking for. However, with use on a running dog, the screw that holds the battery and light bars on the vest will work itself loose. When our dog was wearing the vest just out on our property one night, he returned from the woods without it. It was super easy to find the vest, lol, but the screw is lost forever. Easy fix after a trip to the hardware store. So my advise- check that screw before each use. We have also added a flap of material over it to prevent abrasions on our thin coated dog. We think enough about this product we just purchased 2 more for the other dogs in our pack.

To my surprise, I just realized it’s been a year we’ve enjoyed this harness. Living on salt water, that’s HUGE. We have to replace phone charging cords about every 3 months because they degrade so fast in the salty air. We’ve used it pretty much weekly and it still charges fast, lasts a long time, is durable and still creates a fun light show every time our Labrador showcases his vest. He’s been photographed by a plethora of tourists simply due to his lights in our tourist heavy area. We got the vest mostly for fun and it’s provided (and keeps providing) lots of it!

We do a lot of night time and early morning walks and this harness helps us stay visible to cars. Fits my 150 pound Great Dane and still has room to adjust to be even larger. Only complaint is that, even when tightened, it slides from side to side easily. It's never come off so not a big problem. The light up portion of the harness can be removed so it can be washed and goes back together easily. The battery lasts a while and it charges quickly even after several years. A great purchase!

tis is really bright, and keeps my dog easy to see in the dark mornings when we go on walks. it has so many different settings, it is easy to find a color, or flashing pattern that will work for you.
