I have bought this dog coat for several dogs and I love it. Last coat I stepped on and broke the buckle. It has elastic leg straps to keep coat in place when its windy. The collar is nice to have for her neck. The buckles are placed just right. The buckle clips closer to her back and that keeps the coat in place to keep her tummy warm. I can always use layers and with this coat on top it keeps everything in place. Bought a large for a female beagle, 24 lbs.

I love this coat and so does my little guy. It's warm, repels water, washes well, and has reflectors. It's everything that I was looking for. Plus, the neck opening is wide enough for his front facing no pull harness and leash set. He seems very comfortable wearing this coat. I ordered the blue and black, and I really like the colors. But the best thing about this coat is how easy it is to put on and take off. I highly recommend! Oh, and one more thing. My dog is low to the ground. This is the only coat he's ever had that keeps his underside dry while still allowing him to do his business mess free.

I love this product. It's easy to slip on and off. no hassle with zippers. I do wish that the straps for the legs had snaps instead of the holes in the elastic. But it does the job. I will personally be adding snaps to it, to make it easier for me. Here are the reasons why I like it: Free's up the armpit space to keep her from overheating Protects her chest from getting dirty Covers her bum Does not get in the way of her peeing and pooping Keeps her warm Dries fast The reflective seam on the back The neck, not being restrictive Things I don't like: It's not waterproof or water resistant. I definitely am experiencing the coat absorbing liquid The adjustable chest/waist strap is not long enough, I could use more space My suggestion: Get this product. If you are looking for something waterproof/resistant, look elsewhere. This fit my needs, I just wanted her warm in the snow, and it did that. It also kept her dry, but that's just from the mere fact of keeping her covered.

When my husband said our new pit mix should wear pink, how could I argue? And since she's a brute tank of a girl, I felt she also needed camo. This one fit the bill! Got a sized Large and it fit her short legged odd shaped body type very well. The adjustable strap around the body helped with the fit. Great coverage. She didn't like to walk in the frigid cold before getting this coat. Tried other coats and they didn't fit as well. Well made, thicker material. Easy to get on and off. The elastic straps for the back legs are a plus to help keep it secure around her back end and easy on/off because of her short legs. The hole for the leash is just big enough to get to the hefty D-ring on her Kong harness. Outer material is easy to clean.

Terrific dog coat, best of several we have tried. Very easy to put on and take off the dog. Lining is soft and warm, the outer layer is water and snow resistant. Can't tell how waterproof it would be in rainy weather since we have only had snow, not rain, since getting the jacket. Has a lined piece for the front of the chest, helps protect our dog as she plows through deeper snow. Has elastic for the hind legs to keep the jacket from sliding off to the side, I thought our dog would be bothered by the elastic but she doesn't seem even to notice. One VERY minor problem, is you have to be careful how you line up the buckle/clip connector that fastens the side straps. If not lined up carefully, the prongs on the "male" part don't want to go into the "female" part. When our dog is wiggly-excited to go out, this can be a problem but she's learning to stand still while we get things linked up. We may replace the buckle. Overall, terrific dog coat!

Pros: This is a nice warm coat for my small dog. It looks really cute on him and fits him relatively well, despite him being a weird mix of small breeds. I absolutely love the fact that it has an adjustable strap to go around his middle. My issue getting clothes for my dog has always been that he is so long, but relatively small in stature. Being able to cinch it around his middle without *really* having to sacrifice in length is a huge plus. I also like that you can cinch the neck part tighter to keep your dog warmer. Cons: My dog is quite long-bodied, so I absolutely have to use the leg straps or the coat will ride up his back. Unfortunately, the straps are really flimsy, so they are frayed on the ends, entirely different lengths, and only attach to a single button. I have to use them on the very last hole (which is a frustratingly different length for each one) and they’re still pretty tight on his hind end. For the price, I wish this coat had longer and more sturdy leg straps for those of us with long dogs. I will say, it is a little annoying to have to put this over his head every time, so I do wish it buckled in the front. It’s also very difficult to use this type of jacket with a front-clipping harness. My dog is still learning to walk politely on the leash, and when I try to clip his leash to the back of his harness through the hole in this coat, he pulls like nobody’s business. It is possible to clip the leash to the front and just thread the leash through the coat, but it is awkward and makes the jacket shift around uncomfortably. I really do wish there was a small hole in front for the leash. Overall, I like the coat and am going to keep it. I wouldn’t say it’s necessary worth the money, but it kept my dog warm for the past week in single-digit temps, so it works well enough!
