This sweater I have been using on my huskey for almost a year now. She is 50 pounds and the Large fits her snugly. She goes from wild to calm when wearing this sweater and I think she is just super cozy and warm. First of all ignore the resting hound face. This dog was so happy to be able to stay outside longer this winter. I was looking for a warm layer for my 75 lb Coonhound. It often reaches 0 degrees Fahrenheit or colder throughout our long winters. I was worried about her lack of underarm fur in the extreme temperatures and this shirt was just the thing. She stays nice and warm on her walks. This was also one of the only dog coats that works well on a tall, broad chested dog. The fabric is a little stretchy so it fits her well and it's surprisingly easy to put on her. Since there is no leash attachment at the chest (she is a puller) we generally put her harness on over the top of the shirt and she hasn't had any problems with rubbing or bunching of the fabric. It seems durable and is very soft inside. The hood is more for fashion than function and she doesn't really use it as intended, but it looks cute. ... show more

So I bought 2, one for each of my dogs. One has a chest size of barely 22 and the other 24. I was very torn because I didn't want my smaller dog swimming in it but the size med to large is such a giant jump. So I got a medium for my smaller dog. And it fits where I measured but it's SO tight by her neck and upper chest I had to cut it. She's got that broad pitty type of chest. My other dog is a mini aussie. But she's a little bit chunky. The large fits her perfectly. So I out the LG on my smaller mix and it fits her perfectly. So definitely wish I would have just bought both LG. Now I have one I can't use and had to buy another LG. They are good quality and the price is great. There is a little stretch but not much wiggle room in the neck area. So if you're dog is on that fence on a medium. I would size up. Other than that, they are SUPER cute and well made. Sizing is just always iffy on dog clothes. Lol hope this helps someone. ... show more
