I’ve been taking Now Nutrition Psyllium Husk Fiber Powder daily for a few weeks and have been really happy with the results. It’s helped significantly with digestive regularity and overall gut comfort. I started small by taking a rounded teaspoon once a day with about 12 oz. of water mixing with an electric milk frother/stirrer. Once my body adjusted after a couple of days, I added another teaspoon later in the afternoon to another 12 oz of water. Now I've worked my way up to a tablespoon in the AM and another in the PM. I usually drink it right away before it thickens too much. You can definitely taste it; it has a mild, earthy flavor (almost peppermint-y flavor) but I don’t mind it at all. In fact, I kind of appreciate that it tastes like what it is: natural fiber with no artificial sweeteners or additives. It does thicken pretty quickly once it’s mixed, which is normal for psyllium, so I recommend stirring briskly and drinking it immediately. I also make sure to follow up with another glass of water, which helps it move through the system and do its job properly. What I really like is that this is a pure, simple product. No sugar, no fillers, no flavoring; just psyllium husk powder that works. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a clean and affordable way to increase your daily fiber intake. Highly recommended if you want a dependable fiber supplement and are okay with a little natural flavor in exchange for a very effective product.

I found this to be an okay product. Not sure of the overall health benefits and value for the money; we use it as a supplement in smoothies. Texture is powdery, tasteless in a fruit drink, and it dissolves well.

I've been running high Cholesterol for years and have been taking a statin, but was still bordering on or exceeding high. I read about this and decided to give it a try. It's had great results for me. I noticed immediate improvements in bowel movements. But the real benefits showed up after getting blood work after 3 months... Total Cholesterol down 17%, LDL Cholesterol down 22%, Apolipoprotein B (apo B) down 13%, Triglycerides down 18%. Also saw a one point drop in A1C. My cholesterol is now in the normal range and I am going to talk to my PCP about reducing the statin. If you have high cholesterol you really need to give this a try! TBH, it is difficult to take, especially at first. I use a heaping tablespoon, drop it into a tall glass and add cold water. Stir it briskly and then swallow it as quickly as possible. It doesn't taste bad but not great either - has a gritty composition and a grassy flavor. But you get used to it and the results can be amazing. I'm going to be taking this daily for the rest of my life!

I wanted to try something that wasn't as sweet as Metamucil and was less expensive. This fits the bill. This does not dissolve very well and it doesn't taste very good even mixed with a flavored beverage. It is a good value for the price but I won't be buying it again.
