    • A salt replacer? How can you go wrong?

in addition to getting more potassium in the diet, I use this to replace salt for everything. Put it right in the salt shaker and use it without the health problems of regular salt. It it stronger than salt so be sure to salt to taste before using a lot. I have heard that it doesn't retain the salty taste if you salt before cooking (I don't know for sure since I never salt when cooking) so just wait until you're done cooking and add it. I bought Now Potassium Citrate before this type. It worked well, but gave me a too lose stool. I switched to Potassium Chloride instead. Not sure if it is better but I think it stopped softening my poop. I just began supplementing Potassium after I was diagnosed with Afib. My doctor and cardiologist did not bother mentioning low electrolyte levels, I had to figure it out for myself. After taking magnesium and potassium, which I knew I was deficient of, my heart palpitations and unsettled rhythms stopped. My exercise performance increased dramatically and I fell a lot better. This potassium WORKS. Just be careful and follow the label recommendations, or doctor's. Of course I had to ignore my doctors because they all wanted to kill me with expensive drugs and procedures. ... show more
