The good: After having the sofa for about 3 months, I could say that I really love it! I put this on my home office because I wanted a space where my daughter could stay while I work, and I wanted to have something to lay on when I just want to take a short break from work without going out of my home office room. I have nap here possibly for 5 times within the past 3 months that I have it and it's been comfortable. However, please take note that this is not a replacement for your bed. I think this will work for short naps and occassional sleep overs. I also like the design because I wanted my homw office to have a modern vibe and this worked well with my decor. It is also fairly easy to clean, I usually clean this by vacuuming it and spot cleaning and so far it is still beautiful and looks like new. There are also extra 2 legs hidden behind the sofa which would support it when you want to use this as a bed. The bad: The thing that I did not like about this is how far its color is on actual compared to the picture. The picture shows a vibrant ivory sofa, however what I have looks like a pale light gray sofa. To put some life onto it, I decorated it with modern pillows and it worked - I now forgot that it is not ivory :) Be realistic, this is not one of those "plush" sofa. I have seated on one from Crate and Barrel and it cost $1,000+. They are different and so are priced differently. However, as I said, it is still comfortable, but it is not the type that would sink when you sit like a plush sofa does. It's on the firm side, yet comfortable. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. However, I have to say that I finalize my purchase of this sofa with Walmart because at the time that I bought this, Amazon and Walmart has a $100+ difference, with Amazon's price being higher. I do not know who would want to pay $100+ more for the very same sofa so be sure to shop around and check prices first before finalizing your purchase :) The price range of this sofa from various retailers is huge, so be sure to really research before you finalize the purchase :) ... show more

I’m so happy I bought this couch after countless hours searching.. It looks beautiful in my living room. Can be added to any type of decor and will stand out. I love the velvety texture. It makes it so comfortable to sit in. It’s a firm yet very comfortable couch (soft in a firm way almost.) It gives a lot of support, and I Love the fact you can adjust the incline of the cushioned top half. As a bed: a person who is 5’10 and below can lay in it stretched out, which is a plus. The bed is twin-sized. However, it’s too hard as a bed and quite uncomfortable. there’s also a dip that connects the seating part to the cushioned top part which adds to how uncomfortable it is. But this can be remedied by a couple of thicker fleece or plush blankets, or a mattress topper. Overall, I’m very very happy with it. ... show more

This couch is EVERYTHING I wanted and more! The Ivory velvet fabric is luscious and the quality far surpasses the price. The size fits perfectly in the space and was easy to assemble. Directions were clear and all parts were included. I've ordered custom pillows to add an artistic touch. I prefer the clean lines and structure of this couch over some that are more slouchy. #durability CONS - the Amazon delivery driver left the 600 lb box far from my front door and listed the delivery of product directly to customer to avoid taking the photo of drop placement from a distance. That was shady and I had to pay someone to bring to door. I took it from there. I'm waiting to hear back from Amazon custom care. All and all, I'm really glad w my purchase. ... show more

i don't normally write reviews, but this futon/couch really is 10/10. first of all, i'm a plus size woman and i'll assure you it is very supportive! i've had this couch for a little over a month now, and have slept on it numerous times, and have had multiple other people along with myself sitting on the couch and it fully supported us! if you're concerned about sturdiness and support, look no further, this really is it!! the couch is absolutely beautiful and the velvet is soft, with decently deep seats. the cushions are THICK and you don't feel the coils or anything, they are very soft with a little bounce. again, very very supportive and comfortable. if you're looking for something affordable while remaining beautiful, this really is your couch. i cannot build anything, and i was able to build this couch all by myself with no additional tools required. the couch delivers in a single box, it is very heavy tho, i believe it read 120 pounds. BIG KEY PIECES OF ADVICE: someone else stated that you should put the arms, or the sides on last and i FULLY AGREE! i followed their advice, and when it came to putting them on i instantly understood why and how it would have been 100% more difficult to follow the instructions for that part. SECONDLY, there are 2 thin pieces that end up being the front bottom part, there are screws that it'll say to screw in all the way- i wouldn't, it ended up leaving a mark on the outside, small circles from the screws on the inside- just be mindful. LASTLY, the couch folds a little funny and flops- so if assembling alone, keep that in mind! BUY THIS FUTON/COUCH! ... show more
