I’ve had this couch for about a week now and it has definitely surpassed my expectations. This couch is a gorgeous yellow color - a statement piece for sure. It was extremely easy to put together and it is lightweight enough to be moved around by one person. As other reviews have mentioned, I have a couple very minor imperfections/discolorations in the velvet, but they aren’t noticeable unless you’re really examining the couch closely. The couch is very firm but not hard. I was nervous reading other reviews because I wanted it to be comfortable to sit on for long periods and it definitely is. It seems like it will soften up with time as well, so I actually really enjoy the firmness currently. It can comfortably fit at least 3 people on it at once, or alternatively, it’s very comfortable to lay down on (for a 5’7” person). I think this is a rare example of getting more than what I paid for. I’ll be interested to see how it holds up in the long run, but for the $295 I paid on Prime Day, I think the quality exceeds my expectations. This is the first couch I’ve ever purchased myself and it seems to be better quality than the ones I viewed elsewhere at other low-cost furniture stores like Ashley Furniture (which had couches starting around $400 + delivery). I’ll update my review if anything changes, but for now I’m saying 5 stars because the quality for the low price is not beatable. ... show more

This sofa is absolutely gorgeous! With that, I'll say its only me. This sofa will not recieve a beating from children or spouse. So,, I expect it will last me a good few yrs. I keep it covered most of the time, as I have 2 dogs. My home is small and the size fits exactly how I expected. It is very firm and not deep. I have napped on it, and its a fine napping sofa, for me. For the price,,, its fantastic. Assembly was easy, about 15 minutes. ... show more

I just received this sofa. My nephew and I put it together in about 20 minutes. The velvet feels "Rich"! This is a good value for the price I paid. Kuddos to the makers... my only concern is the legs are made of plastic...But, there are 6 legs which adds to the support in the center of the sofa. Thank you, Amazon for the price.. this helps me to have nice furniture on my 'fixed' Retirement Budget. I have just received/assembled this sofa.. I hope the plastic legs will support/last for a long time. ... show more

We’ve had this sofa for about a week and so far it’s great! It is very firm but I don’t like a squishy sofa because of back problems so for me it’s perfect. Husband had a nap on it the second day and said it was comfortable. Most importantly the cat has not tried to scratch it once! So this couch is 6’ long but the actually usable space is probably about 65” when you take off for the arm rests. This couch came in 4 pieces. None of the cushions are independent they’re stitched to frame. The back rests slide into pre made slots and you bolt the two seat cushion pieces together. The legs were disappointing. They ended up being plastic and not wood. Which was a bummer. But there are 6 instead of 4. The couch came in one box and it took less than 15 mins to put together. I feel like it took more time to unbox it than put together. Also the couch was wrapped inside the box which helped protect the fabric in transit. Overall the unboxing and set up was pleasant. The couch itself is indeed firm, but I like that and it makes it feel more springy in the cushions. The velvet is soft and my couch came blemish free. I can lay on it without hanging over the edge at 5’2” comfortably. The seat feels deep and I think bc the cushions are fixed you can’t lose anything in them and you don’t need to worry about sliding cushions. I paid a great price for this on sale at $250 and that made it a no brainer. However, I am concerned about the longevity of the couch with rough use. The two bolts holding the couch together…. I don’t know. And the plastic legs worry me. So if you’re careful with the couch and don’t jump on it, I think it’ll work. At full price I’d be more discerning as there are some good comps at that range. But for this price it was the best on the market is style and size and I’d buy it again. If you’re crafty, upgrading the legs would be a game changer. ... show more
