I bought these to cover the windows in a small camper. There were several sizes available and I found one that was just a little larger than the window. Installation required a bit of drilling, but nothing very difficult. It was actually more difficult to re-find the holes once the carpet on the wall closed back over the new holes, so put a twig or toothpick in the holes as soon as you drill them. The shades depend on the strings on the sides being tensioned, then you just slide the bottom of the shades up and down. They did not slide down in my first trip after installing them. Overall, not too expensive, easy to install, and secure.

We were replacing an original shade of similar design and this one was a good fit and color match as well as darkening the room more ...which was a good thing. We're very pleased with the end result...but it was mor of a problem than we expected to install which was due to the ORIGINAL shade mounting and valence frame mostly...but also due to fairly limited instructions for the new mounting. It took almost an hour to get the old valence off and remove the old shade fixture. The actual install for THIS shad took about 1/2 hours as we didn't allow enough BRACKET space VERTICALLY above the window frame to allow us to tilt the shade topper enough to hookit and push it into place. Once I drilled some holes with a 1/2" space...it went much easier but be prepared to struggle to hook and push lock upwards with some force. Another issue is to place the shade horizontally right where you want it before hooking and pushing it into locked position which will not allow further horizontal adjustment without unhooking. The shade is now nicely in place and secure and both a better shade and easier up and down than our last one. I'm holding on to the second one in the pack as a spare ...and would come back and buy more of these in different sizes as the 6 other shades we have in the RV which I'm sure will fail in the future,

Got these to replace the ultra cheap ones from the factory. I had a hard time finding sizes and colors of blinds that match each other and was kind of forced into these based on getting everything to coordinate/match. The biggest downside to this style of blind is that there's no happy medium, they're either open or closed. Unlike traditional blinds you can open slightly to look through but still have some privacy, these don't allow that. Though you already know that just by looking at these. They install okay and tensioning these isn't too hard. If you can use a screw driver, you should be able to install these just fine. There's a lot of plastic in these and the material of the blind itself is a bit of a cross between plastic and cloth. We'll have to see how they hold up over time. The color doesn't match perfectly with the others I got but I'm sure I'm the only one that notices it.

These shades were easy to install! The windows near the kitchen sink in our RV pull trailer needed replacement shades and these were installed without any frustration. The instructions were easy to follow so it didn’t take much time to install. The fabric color matches closely with the original shades.
