Well-made sturdy bed frame and looks great. Very easy to put together with tool provided - NO missing or damaged parts. Great under-bed storage space (12" high). I purchased this for a spare bedroom with a FULL-SIZE mattress (no box spring needed). After reading some of the reviews, I will address a couple of issues some people complained about: One person complained about the fact that the bolts were "silver" (yes, they are metal) so it looked bad. I purchased the WHITE bed frame and just sprayed the TOPS ONLY of the bolts/washers with white quick-drying enamel paint (which I just happen to have on hand) BEFORE installing them. Others complained about the mattress sliding around on the frame. YES, it does slide around from side-to-side a little bit (depending on the mattress you have), but I easily fixed this by laying down a rubberized waffle rug padding (that I also happen to have on hand) between the frame and the mattress - problem solved!! Some complained that the instructions had no "words"...just pictures of how to install. I found the instructions just fine and very easy to visualize each installation step. Other than these issues that some people complained about, I have nothing bad to say about this bed frame, as they are very easily solved. A nice inexpensive quality frame for a spare room, kid's room, etc. Based on the quality of the materials, I expect this to last for a long time. I tried to buy this exact frame (and others) on AliExpress. It would have cost A LOT less overall. Unfortunately they never have the product in stock like they claim, never ship it, and I waste all my time waiting for nothing to happen and get a refund. So as much as I am not a huge Amazon fan, I knew if I bought it they would ship it and are reliable. I also knew if any manufacturing issues existed (like missing hardware, incorrect screw holes) that I could probably return it easily from a nearby shipping location (like my nearest Kohl's). I am glad I bought this bed frame. Overall the assembly was easy with only minor issue. One of the brackets that hold the support bars was a bit too tight. I eventually tapped the support bar with a rubber mallet. That tap caused the bar to slide in a smidgen and then it was super easy for the support bar to then fit. It probably was off by a millimeter or two (for those who don't know, that's a very tiny amount). I have yet to sleep on it because I haven't bought a mattress because I wanted to make sure the frame worked first and not get stuck with a mattress and no bed frame. But I think it should work fine when the time comes. The lowest support bar on the headboard is about 6 inches away from the top of the platform and support bars. I can probably get away with a 6 inch mattress without it sliding around. But I will buy a 7 (if they exist) or an 8 inch high mattress to ensure no sliding occurs. I also thought I could wrap a soft plastic hook bungee cord around the headboard / bars to keep it from sliding if my future mattress is too low in height. But an 8 inch mattress or higher should definitely work. I specifically bought this frame because I wanted something affordable, sturdy, could hold a lot of weight if I start dating someone large, and that had a headboard and footboard to keep the mattress from sliding off like my old bed frame / mattress did. The pillows would constantly fall off and behind the bed because the bed would shift around. Even if this bed frame shifts (which I haven't tried it yet to know), the mattress, pillows, and sheets should stay on the bed. Also there is a foam sticker running down the middle support bar so that the support slat bars above it don't scratch with metal against metal friction and should keep the bed quiet. Very good. I know this is a ridiculously long review. But hopefully it answers some questions and concerns people might have. I am happy that I gave this bed frame a try and it looks just as nice as the pictures. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The Novilla metal queen bed frame is sturdy, easy to assemble, and looks great in my bedroom. The headboard and footboard give it a nice classic touch, and the black metal finish fits well with both modern and rustic decor. I love the 14-inch height—there’s plenty of space underneath for storage bins, which helps keep the room tidy. The metal slats are strong and supportive, and I didn’t need a box spring. Assembly took about an hour with clear instructions. No squeaks or wobbling so far. For the price, this is an excellent buy. Highly recommend for anyone needing a durable bed frame. So far great for the price. No flexing, no noise. Planned to use loc tite or similar but so far seems solid. Pictures only, no written instructions, but the design makes sense. Slats are much closer together in real life, photos make it look like there is a wide space, but assembled there is just enough room to step through. Some of the poles (legs) for the end of the bed didn't fit, but I flipped them around and they went in with a few taps of a rubber mallet. It is helpful to finish one side at a time doing the head and foot of the bed. Then lay the finished end on the floor and do the other side held up towards your face. 4 stars now after assembly and mattress in place. If I dont get any creaking or loose parts in a month I will upgrade to 5. Would recommend ... show more
