So far very nice. Very comfy and cooling. Only time will tell if this continues to work like all the others did not. Having tons of trouble getting a mattress pad to stay on my king size bed but hopefully this will do the job. It is thick and easy to put on but I just have a problem with this king size bed like I have never had before. Hope this one works. Time will tell.

I read the reviews for a bunch of these waterproof mattress covers because I have a frequent guest that frequently gets the bed. I made the right choice! I bought 3 mattress pads, all of them at the same price. I unboxed all 3 when they arrived because the plan was to pick the best one and return the other 2. This one disappointed me because the material on the underneath side is that cheap paper-like material. I'm sure you've seen it or felt it: it's not soft, it's slightly crinkly in the way that it feels to touch it, and in my experience, this material doesn't last long. This was my deal-breaker. One of the 3 at this price has a MUCH nicer material on the underneath side, so that's the keeper. By the way, I bought both of these SLEEP ZONE mattress pads. The other one is the one that sounds like it would be thinner. To me, they're about the same thickness as each other! I wouldn't say it has a thickness either, but there isn't a better word to use so there it is. Speaking of which, don't expect this to be plush. It's NOT. It's just a cheap fluffy-LOOKING mattress pad. In reality, it's just... meh. I wouldn't expect it to feel all that different compared to not having any sort of a mattress pad. In fact, that's what the one I'm keeping is like too. So with this aspect, it seems you DO get what you pay for. So now I think if you want something you'll feel when you're sleeping on it (something thick), then you'll need to look at something that's at a higher price and you should include pillow tops in your search. The way this thing is advertised made me think it'll be way too big for my washer and dryer, but lol no it would fit just fine if I were to keep it. You should see the tiny box it comes in. No, it doesn't inflate as soon as you cut the bag open. Some of the better ones probably would, but not this one. It's laughably thin when you think about the way it's advertised. They make it look so plush and luxuriously cushy. The other 2 came in tiny boxes as well, but that was also the goal: to find something decent that will fit EASILY in my washer and dryer. My previous one was massive, almost like a pillow top. Washing it was a pain in the butt, and it was HEAVY. The one I'm keeping is wonderfully the opposite of that without sacrificing any apparent quality, unlike this SLEEP ZONE mattress pad (and the other SLEEP ZONE pad too). So if you think all of this would disappoint you just as much as it did me, then don't buy this. All I can say here is, MATBEBY! When you know, you know.

I was surprised for the price how comfortable and plush this mattress topper was. It's easy to put on the mattress and was lighter than I had anticipated. I was expecting a heavy cumbersome product like some I bought previously in a store, but this was light and does the job perfectly. It's machine washable and dries quickly in the dryer. Perfect fit for the job :-)
