I was so excited to buy this bed frame (eyed it up for months) but it has been less than three months and I've never regretted an Amazon purchase more. The bed looks great but it is endlessly frustrating. The middle bar supports are constantly skewing to the side, no matter how much they are tightened, causing a sag and what I assume will eventually cause it to collapse entirely when they go left or right too far one too many times. The only way to fix it is by moving the mattress off entirely and manually tightening the screws once again: I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I've already had to do this three times. This also means you can never secure the mattress fully to the bedframe since you are going to need to move it off constantly just so the bed doesn't collapse. I would have returned the bed frame but it also comes in a very very heavy box (see earlier note on pregnant). I can count on my hands the number of negative reviews I've left but this is an absolute zero. Very pretty but an absolute skip.

The headboard and foot board and over all frame is nice real wood, solid feeling. The support beams for the mattress are a bit on the flimsy side. The bed itself is sturdy perfect for a child. The color is a nice natural wood. It was delivered with all its parts and was fairly simple to assemble. Over all about 1.5-2 hours from start to finish. I gave it a four star only because it doesn’t seem like it could hold the capacity of a teenager or larger than a child. So the duration of use may not be forever. We are satisfied and love the look of the bed. We will use it most likely for the next 10 years or so.
