I actually got the "Noverlife 200PCS Disposable Tattoo Pen Covers" for an oddball reason ... for writing. I am a huge notetaker, am always making recipes and adjusting amounts, trying new homemade products (soaps, tinctures etc), make a lot of hot sauce etc. Bottom line is my hands (even when in rubber gloves) often have messy ingredients, oils or hot spices on them. Rather than trying to wash my hands or change gloves every time I need to make a notation I can now just grab the pen that is encased in the "tattoo pen cover". When I change products/recipes etc I change gloves and pen covers. No transferring of ingredients and no drying my hands out from having to wash them extra times with each product. They also work great for singling out utensils. A lot of my kitchen spoons, spatulas & measuring spoons are similar. When making a food dish I often do half of it spicy hot. Essential not to use the utensils that have the hot pepper juices on them in the not hot half of the dish. The pen covers slip over the handles so I know that is the 'spicy hot' utensil. These little blue bags are surprisingly sturdy. With both hands I put my fingers in the straight-cut end of the open bag and I could not rip it or break it. With pressure & force I could stretch it. At the opposite end where the needle would go it has a curved cut and it still took some pulling but I was able to stretch it a bit easier and eventually rip it. But that was my intention so I am doubtful that they would accidentally rip during use (not that I know about the tattooing process). So while the way I use them may not be their intended use the name "pen covers" gave me the idea and solved a problem!
