The stool is easy to assemble and seems sturdy - but hard and a bit uncomfortable. The stool area is tiny, (child size?) and feels as if it has no padding at all. It was cheap - so it looks like I got what I paid for! However, the seller makes returning it super difficult (and expensive because you have to pay current UPS retail shipping costs) - so it may not be worth the risk of discovering the stool too small and uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time. You are pretty much stuck with it. But if you want a low cost, well-constructed stool that feels a bit hard, this could be a good fit for you. Me personally... I bought this for work after i had a hysterectomy, i did take the cushion off and add more padding for my comfort. It was easy to take apart to alter it to my needs. The wheels lasted for about 8 months; i groom dogs and the hair got stuck in the wheels. I ordered a different type of wheel and they were easy to replace.
