I love this rug! I adore color, so my space is very eclectic. This rug anchored all of my tendencies to bring what I like into my small home regardless of whether or not they will "go" with other things. Honestly, I'm a cheapskate when it comes to stuff like this. I avoided buying an area rug because I don't like the prices of large rugs, but at the same time I also don't trust the quality of inexpensive large rugs. I thought this rug was beautiful, but I didn't trust its quality based on the price. I am SO very grateful to other reviewers for their photos and comments, because THEY are the reason I ended up purchasing this rug! This rug is soft, but I wouldn't call it plush or luxurious to the touch. However, it is very comfy under my bare feet, and cushy enough for me when I sit or lie on it. Early days, but so far no shedding issues. It feels very quality & durable, and it's wonderfully vibrant! I absolutely love it. My only negative, and it's not much of a negative, is that it's been 3 days with those books on the edge of the rug (see pics) to try and calm the curl from storage/shipping, and I'm still waiting for it to be flat. Not a real problem, just an fyi. You canNOT go wrong with this 9'x12' price point of $218! I love this carpet!! It livens up my office space perfectly, and is exactly what I was looking for. I got the 5’ round (which is actually 5’3”). It’s a great quality, feels very soft, and inviting to sit on! As others mention, it is thin, however find that a positive as it is lightweight and fits under furniture. I followed the instructions of rolling it backwards to help it lay flat and that’s helping it. I would definitely recommend this and would buy it again!! ... show more

Got this yesterday, incredibly speedy delivery to a non prime member. Came well packaged in a roll wrapped w heavy plastic and a thinner plastic liner within the roll. I put a clean old runner on top of it then weighted the entire length down overnight. Here's my pic next morning. As it's 10 feet long it doesn't seem to slip but I plan on putting a pad under to be sure and give it cushion. It is a short loop pile, thin but not cheap. The serging or border is med blue, which I wanted. Well made. I don't have anything orange or pink in my decor but love color and this works, plus makes me smile. I needed blue/teal and this has enough. I want to say here that I had my eye on 3 other Nourison runners, diff styles similar colors, but prices were $95, $80 and $78. I have pets and just didnt wanna spend that much. I did a deeper search in the Norison Store you can click on and found this for under $44, exact same quality as the other 3!! For price I can be very flexible, plus it was free delivery AND free return (new thing I can take it to my nearby KOHL'S store with a return code on my phone from Amazon....and guess what....you don't even hafta wrap, just bring as is!) THEN that very same day you get your refund in your Amazon account, before Kohl's even sends it!!! SO I figured what have I got to lose. Keep in mind that you have to check pricing on everything on Amazon every few days as they can, on certain items, randomly fluctuate wildly. In fact the original rug I had in my cart was $65, that's the one that went to $95.......overnight!! (I tend to put stuff in my cart then think about it for a few days or more, sometimes price goes down then I grab it fast, but this time I lost the gamble.) I kept checking but it hadn't gone back down so I figured I'd better order this one in a hurry before the price jumped to match the others!!! I messaged Amazon before I gave up to ask if I could get it for the $65 (never hurts to try), no luck, supply and demand was their reason. If you think about your choices as I do, as a savvy shopper, and if you can work with 1 or 2 of the colors in this runner, I don't think you will at all be disappointed at this price point. If you don't mind spending double then I'm sure you like that one as well. ... show more

Very pleased to find, when I cut into the plastic, that there was no bad smell as you often get from a rug or similar item that's been sealed in plastic since the factory. It's a thin-ish rug, but it's as described in the description, size is as described, colors look pretty good, overall I'm pleased. It's not too thick, so it laid out nicely after I unrolled it, rolled it back up the opposite way, and let it sit for a little while. It'll keep settling as we walk on it. Not fancy or luxurious, but it's pretty soft, looks nice, seems durable, and I cannot stress enough how glad I am I didn't have to hang it outside for a few days or spray it with deodorizers or anything! ... show more

When I first saw this rug, I had to have it. It helps that the picture displayed on Amazon is one in a beautiful room with great lighting and decor. But I knew that if I’d passed on it, I’d just keep thinking about it...so I bought it! And it does not disappoint...at all! It’s huge, which is what I wanted. It takes up most of the floor in the master bedroom. And honestly, I think I also need one with a different design in the living room. It’s so, so pretty. It came faster than I’d expected it to via Prime. With everything currently going on, I wasn’t expecting that. And it helps that I was home because it is huge and I didn’t want to miss it. The UPS man didn’t just take off, thank God. I think it would also be great as a gift. I love it so, so much. The colors are everything. I was very excited to get and review this. I have tile floors but recently purchased large area rugs for all rooms in my apartment because my two elderly dogs started having trouble walking on the tiles. I needed rugs that were large, affordable, and durable - and hiding spots would be a bonus (see previous comment about elderly dogs :-p). I also wanted them to bring some color and liveliness to my apartment. This rug truly fit the bill in the “color and liveliness” department! I loved the colors snd pattern when I saw this online, but it looked so dramatic that I worried it would be too much. I actually decided to go for it after reading reviews and looking at pictures posted by others, so I decided to do the same in case it’s helpful for anyone else. :) The colors are very vibrant in real life and I really love how it brightens the room up (the walls are painted a weird dark teal so brightening was desperately needed). It is soft to walk on and is holding up well so far. Also, it arrived very quickly and the dogs are big fans. 😜 Very pleased with my purchase! OK, so this rug is really beautiful. It is not as "high grade" as rugs I have purchased directly at furniture stores before, but it is bright, cheerful and goes with the drapes I selected. My real "review" is about the fact that I may be having a severe allergic reaction to this rug. It has a VERY strong odor. I went outside today to try to get over a severe allergic issue with something(?).................and while outside I recovered. Until I came back inside and wrote this review......where the rug is.. I am going to put this rug outside to get fresh air to fix it. I hope it works because I am beyond miserable at the moment. I COULD BE WRONG. But I am sensing that the rug it is the issue because I have not had allergies like this in a very long time. There's no way to rate features like this and I have no idea if this rug is easy to clean. All I know is that since I put this in my living room, I have not stopped sneezing. UPDATE: I put it outside for a couple of days to air out which helped stop the sneezing. It still has a strong smell, so I may set it outside for a while again. ... show more
