My work boots are absolutely terrible in every way....but they stop me from falling off roofs which is kind of important. But these socks have literally changed my life, no more foot pain, they are beyond comfortable, and I'm going to wear them year round! 90 degrees working my tail off dripping sweet and I kid you not my feet are cool and dry. Being merino wool I'm sure they'll be warm enough for the winter. Length and cushioning is perfect. I can't believe I spent this much on a pair of socks but they're worth every penny. Also it's true that they don't smell bad like normal socks so you don't have to buy as many pairs. I thought they might get tighter after washing, but after two times through the wash (including the dryer), they are fine. I wear them with work boots, and they don't ride down into the boot. I really like the socks. I’m not getting hot spots when I walk a mile from my truck to the ship I work on. But the composite toe wore a hole in them in less than a month. Everyday I wash at night and wear the next day.

Best socks ever. Worth every penny. I’ve bought many work socks over the years, these are the best by far. I bought them for work. But I find myself wearing them all the time. The cushion is incredible. My feet feel great at the end of the day. One of my best investments.
