We love this rug. It is a great deal and very beautiful for our living room. We have vinyl (hard wood look) flooring and we use it between our couches and chairs. We had an anti slip mat underneath, but our cat kept lifting it up and pulling at it so we took it out. It works fine without it. We do have the couch and chair legs over it, but it still worked and didn't move around without anything on it or under it. Our naughty cat still scratches the rug from time to time, but no damage. I returned it ONLY because I decided that, being very light in color, it could easily become too dirty for where I planned to use it.
