Update ** I bought my 2nd one basically because it was pink and programmable. My last one is working ... but the glass coffee pot itself broke (the handle broke off) there's a little screw for security at the bottom of the handle but not at the top...that's where it broke. That needs redesigned. You can buy a replacement crafe for it but they are $25. I went ahead and bought a replacement one plus an extra coffee pot system as well. Bottom line....the handle is a weak spot. I absolutely LOVE it. Pink is my color. Coffee is hot. I highly recommend it. ... show more

2 months quit working

I dislike giving a rating like this and this is probably the first time I've given a 1 star review. I prefer using a French Press for my coffee so I've used this coffee maker about 10 times since I got it 2 months ago. It started with the microwave oven that I really liked the style of so I ended up buying about five different appliances to match everything in my kitchen. The coffee maker worked fine one day then the next day it makes noise like the water is getting hot but no water comes out into the coffee grounds. I tried calling Amazon and since I'm a month out of the warranty or whatever it is it's got a year warranty I can't return it and I'm stuck contacting the manufacturer. I paid $80 for this coffee maker and I really expected some help from the people I bought it from to take care of this product warranty. I just got out of the hospital with having a hip replacement and I don't have time to go all over trying to return this thing. I'm very very disappointed. I will never buy another product from this company because the warranty is not being stood up by. When I did call the manufacturer I got a recording no one's return my call it's terrible. And I feel the people I bought it from 2 months ago should take care of this problem but that's not going to happen so I'm done with this I'll buy another coffee maker from Braun or somebody that makes a decent one for my $100. I recommend do not buy any products from this company. Update: After contacting the manufacturer they are sending me a new one. It was very easy for me to take care of. I will not change my rating. I feel the vender should have taken care of this problem. All the vender did was give me a runaround and empty promises. They said they would call me back the next day and it never happened. Questionable Product

Giving a 4 rating for now because no one is perfect. I purchase this coffee maker in the aqua color for our beach house in Jan 2025. By July it was failing….steaming instead of making coffee. After 30 minutes you might have one cup of coffee. Needless to say my return window was closed so l contacted the Nostalgia company, as it has a one year warranty. Customer service person was very thorough and helpful. She quickly responded with what she needed photos of and was quick to respond after her requests were delivered from me (all by emails). Within a few days l received another brand new maker. Hopefully this one will work longer. My original warranty date of Jan 2025 remains the same so if this one fails after Jan 2026 Im not sure I’ll have any recourse. My husband seems to think the issue is with the pump. If you purchase BEWARE! Don’t just buy it for the awesome retro look!! ... show more
