Love the look. I have waited a long time to get this. Just needed the old maker to stop working. This maker is stylish and makes a nice pot of coffee. I was worried about there being no "bold" brew setting but I have used the same amount of grounds and the coffee tastes great! Something about this carafe pours better than my old maker, also. Easy to clean, love the reusable filter. The only thing I don't like about this stylish and simple to use coffee maker is that there is no water window. You cannot see if there is already water in or how much. Guess I'll just have to pay attention. ;) Love it for now...I will update after 30 days. ... show more

Stopped working after 4 months. Took the whole thing apart and cleaned all the parts, but it didn’t help. Would steam and gurgle for over a half hour and make a quarter pot of terrible coffee. At 6 months I finally asked for a replacement under warranty with the company, which took two months on back order to get the same color. Asked for the newer version thinking they surely would have fixed the problem that so many customers had complained about publicly on Amazon. The newer version lasted 5 months before it just stopped working altogether, refused to brew at all. Contacted the company and because I had now exceeded the original coffee maker’s 12 month warranty by one month, they would not refund or replace it. Terrible cheap junk that will end up in a landfill. Not nostalgic at all. Things used to be built to last, now everything is made with planned obsolescence. ... show more

It is honestly as beautiful as the pictures implied. And setting the clock and setting it to auto make both were so easy I figured it out on my own without the instruction book. However it did come with the instruction book. I intend to buy this entire set. I am so in love.

Super cute but we’ve noticed it doesn’t keep the coffee very hot in the pot. It also doesn’t make a sound when the coffee is done brewing and it’s very unreliable if you try to pour a cup before it’s finished. Sometimes it stops and sometimes it just keeps going. Would I buy again? Probably because I love the look on the counter and all the little problems are just that. If I’d paid more for it I would complain but it wasn’t all that expensive. If all those things are important, I would say buy a better brand, but it really is super cute and guests always notice it ... show more

The water comes into the filter much faster than it drains out, so that the filter overflows and there are coffee grounds everywhere. I have been turning it off a couple of times while it's brewing to allow the water to drain from the filter, and then turn it back on. Very disappointed. It's pretty, but it's not functional. - UPDATE . I bought some Melitta filters, and it works great now. I apologize for the first review. I was using "generic" filters.
