Smells and tastes just like movie theater popcorn, vs paying movie theater prices this will easily pay for it's self in no time. Easy assembly instructions and all the tools needed were included used Great Northern 6 ounce popcorn for the first batch machine seemed to have plenty of room, might try the 8 ounce packs but for us the 6 ounce made enough popcorn for 5 people. Cleanup couldn't have been simpler (turned off both switches waited about an hour for everything to cool down) kettle is removable for easy cleaning with a damp washrag and glass came spotless with a spray bottle with 1 tablespoon white vinegar mixed in a 1 pint spray bottle. I worked for years in a movie theater their machines are exactly like these only larger and if you have never used these type of poppers there is a learning curve to know when the popcorn is done and time to dump the kettle, if you dump too soon you get lots of unpopped popcorn and if you wait too long the popcorn can burn get it right though and it's perfect. ... show more

After re-reading reviews I decided to contribute mine. It was received well packaged and undamaged. Assembly wasn't difficult but assembly instructions are lacking. Seems to be confusion with candy dispenser location and that is related to assembly. The plastic support base can be oriented such that the dispenser is under the popcorn door as I set it up or the opposite side. Likewise there are electrical cord cut outs on both sides of cart to ensure the cord is not in the front of the unit. We bought it for popcorn, candy dispenser more for show. Makes popcorn quick, must use quality oil and turn off popper AND dump kettle as soon as popping really slows down. Looks nice, sturdy, makes enough popcorn for 6-8 adults. This model doesn't have a heated warming tray but you could replace the regular bulb with a heat bulb if you wanted....we eat the popcorn too quick for it to matter! ... show more

My kids absolutely love having fresh popcorn, and this is way more fun than popping in a microwave. One downside is how small the candy dispensers are. Can't handle anything larger than Skittles or M&Ms. Mike and Ike's got stuck.

Perfect for movie nights!! It has a kernel catch tray which is a huge plus, compared to the smaller models. It helps make clean up easy! If you have a large family (more than 4), you’ll probably need to make 2 batches for 1 serving or go for the bigger model. The candy dispenser is located on the backside. We would need to reposition it, when we want to use it. The storage is just right- a small container of popcorn, oil and seasonings fit. Assembly was easy and everything arrived in new condition. No damages. Most importantly- the kids love it! Making extra batches is not a big deal. ... show more
