    • Dividers are flimsy and ineffective
It’s a nice bag but has some design flaws. I use the side with the dividers for my cords and my microphone. After zipping the divided side up and loading the other side, (which I put my board and my extension cord in), I have intended to zip the entire bag closed but when I pick it up, I’ve inadvertently unzipped the divided side, dropping everything on the floor. A larger, outer zipper pull would be more effective. Having made this mistake 3 times, I am now more cautious about which pull I’m zipping. Also, the dividers are only about an inch or an inch and a half wide and they Velcro to the sides, however after the bag is closed, the cords can easily slide underneath or over the dividers. The idea is good, in theory, it’s just an ineffective design. ... show more

    • Reasonable bag for my mixer and cables
I've got conflicting feelings about this mixer bag. On one hand, it's the perfect size for my mixer, which was the biggest factor in choosing it (of course). On the other hand, the half of the case where the cables and mics and misc. stuff goes was pretty loose. The included repositionable dividers sort-of do their job, but they're a little narrow and when you combine that with the flexibility of the soft side of the case, stuff can easily shift around in the space and slip under or over the dividers. I ended up cutting down some leftover corrugated cardboard to create liners and trays for the spacing and height that I needed. It wasn't an elegant fix, but it works for me. Based on having to do that in order to keep the miscellany from getting all mixed around, I really don't think the price at the time of purchase was a good value. Had the dividers been more meaningful, or had rigid inserts or spacers also been provided, then I probably wouldn't balk. But, as nothing of the sort was included, I had to do a fair amount of work to arrive at something workable for my needs and that kept the value proposition from balancing. While I was customizing the case, I also added an extra piece of eggcrate foam to protect the working surface of the mixer from other gear that might tip against the soft sides of the case. It probably isn't necessary, as the case is pretty well padded on that side, but it fit so I went with it as a little additional protection. The construction of the case itself seems to be very good, so that kept this review from dropping to three stars. Hopefully it will last a long time. ... show more

    • Very customizable and easy to carry
The Snigjat Audio Mixer Case is a very well constructed and lightweight storage and soft transport case that can be customized using included velcro fastened dividers. While I don't have a mixer that exactly fits the dimensions of this particular case, when given the opportunity to review the item, I knew it would be a great choice for safely transporting some of my other audio related equipment such as microphones, effect pedals and instrument cables and those small items I frequently use. There is also a zippered pouch on the front of the bag for ideally carrying papers such as lyrics, and this compartment could also be used for carrying other non-paper items such as picks, pencils, and other small personal effects that you wouldn't necessarily want combined with other items in the main case itself. With my current situation I use a couple of large Anvil hard cases to essentially pack all of my needed equipment into each of them making for extremely heavy transport. The Snigjat Audio Mixer Case is going to help lighten my load considerably and give me a way to keep the last minute, final setup items separate and off to the side (or tucked away in my vehicle) while preparing the rest of the stage at a gig. While the Snigjat Audio Mixer Case is a cloth based soft case, it is constructed very well and the zippers and stitching have been manufactured without any apparent flaws or defects. There is enough padding to provide adequate protection for any equipment a person might stash away into the case. The gray color of the case is also a nice touch to give the appearance of professionalism. Funny in a way because I've seen a number of bands and musicians use old luggage and suitcases to get their equipment to and from shows. With a convenient carrying handle and an over the shoulder strap option, the Snigjat case is going to be very helpful in protecting whatever lightweight gear and accessories you stow inside. The product description doesn't go as far as claiming the case is "waterproof", but I think the nature of the polyester fabric of the case does lend to a great degree of water resistance. There is only one thing that I can recommend as an "additional feature" for this case (but am not going to deduct a rating star for) is that Snigjat might consider adding a luggage tag or identification pocket somewhere on the case itself. Alternatively what I think I am going to eventually do is have a person with an embroidery machine embroider my name onto the front or top of the bag. I would highly recommend the Snigjat Audio Mixer Case to anyone needing a way to easily and safely transport their audio equipment. Of course the case also has many other uses in various fields of work, but I am simply reviewing the case from a musicians point of view. After lugging countless heavy cases over the years, it is nice to give yourself a break and lighten your load somewhat. ... show more

This works well for my mixer and cables etc, but mics can't go in or they slide around and get banged up. The sides of this carrier are soft, so the dividers are pretty much useless as anything with any kind of weight (like mics) pushes the side and goes around them. It's not a bad bag, but if the sides had some rigidity to them then dividers would work better. Other than that, it works well. So, the materials and zippers, and over-all look are decent. No complaints there. But this is a completely soft case, that doesn't hold its shape unless it's full, or having been filled and emptied. This may be a pro for some people, if you want it to smush flat when empty. Has some padding in it, and seems protective enough (other than dropping. Not sure I'd be trusting of it in that department). Final verdict is that I like it; I'm just used to, and preferring that even my softer cases have some kind of rigidity and hold their shape when empty. If you don't care about that, it's pretty much a 5 star case for the price. I'd like to see it go a little lower, with its lacking in rigidity, as you can get a halfway decent whole duffel bag around this range. But materials seem up to par, in comparison with harder cases in this region, I think. ... show more
