Even in the hot, east coast, weather these boots are very comfortable to wear. The steel toe also affords me a more secure feeling while working on different projects. That said, these boots are excellent for hiking over different, and sometimes very slippery, environments. They provide great support, easy to put on and remove, and best of all, clean up well.

Leather and fit are absolutely perfect for the price point. The sole is my only complaint, and it's manageable. The sole isn't very slip resistant and wears quickly. I have to replace the boots about every 6 months, but that's about the same amount of time I was getting out of boots 3x the cost! I'll continue to buy these!

Over fit and comfort is average . The breathable material is not canvas or cotton based. A BB of weld spatter was able to pernitrate and burn through the top of the boot, through the sock and imbed into the top of my foot. In a warehouse or construction application, these boots would be a good choice.

Bought these boots as a replacement for similar 5.11 Tactical boots I owned, which I could no longer find at a reasonable price.. Arrived on time. Quality is good for such a cheap boot. Shined up nicely, fresh out of the box. Padding under steel toe is a nice touch. Rated 3/5 due to issues with fit, support, and comfort. Boots seem a little too wide and loose-fitting for my foot. The arch support isn't there for me, and I will need to try out different insoles. The heels and balls of my feet began to hurt about halfway through the workday, as these boots seem to be designed for someone with wide, flat feet. I guess you get what you pay for. This is my first day wearing the boots Will update this review if necessary. UPDATE: After trying two different sets of insoles and a three-week break-in period, I find the boots marginally wearable, and that's being generous. As I type this, my feet are still somewhat sore. To their credit, the boots are lightweight, not heavy and clunky like traditional steel toes. Structurally they seem to be holding up fine under normal working conditions. I bought a second pair but am not sure if I will keep them or return them for a pricier but more comfortable work boot.
