Ordered 1 last month and was impressed. Placed an order for 5 more, and 4 came in perfect like last month. However, the 5th one from this order, out of the box had a vertical crack on the front top. It also had the top couple of blinds with bites out of them on the left, out of the box. I knew I liked the blind and could possibly hide these defects, so I decided to install it. Well, that top front crack was weak and boom, the rear cracked right behind it on the back side while installing and I now had 2 top pieces. Used superglue and duct tape and was able to get it installed and hiding behind the drape. Just hope it lasts and stays up there. Other than this one blind being factory defective, I do like these blinds for ease of use, room darkening and more solid than cheaper ones out there. ———————————————— Update: The vendor reached out to me right after this review was posted. They said duct tape and super is not right, and quickly sent me a replacement blind. As I shared above, these blinds are very good. Given I now have nothing to take stars off my review, I am putting it to where it should be.

The Lumino blinds I ordered had been very carefully packed at the factory, and I was impressed by the quality and sturdiness of all the components of the blinds once I examined them. Moreover, the internet sites that specialize in blinds had MUCH higher prices for cordless units of the same size. I found the Lumino installation instructions to be reasonably clear but incomplete. Here are two tips that may be useful to other amazon.com buyers: (1) Install all the end caps as your first step. (2) Be very careful when you actually snap the blinds into place on the clips (very heavy-duty) that you have screwed into place inside your windows. On my first of three, I thought I had it right until I tried to move the slats up and down with the rotating mechanism. It didn't work properly and emitted a loud SNAP at the limits of its movement. I thought this blind was defective and would have to be returned. BUT, when I removed the blind from the clips, I discovered that I had inadvertently "hooked" the internal slat-adjustment rod with the clips on the blind's top bar. Hence, it couldn't function properly. This was easily remedied, and now all three blinds I installed function smoothly in every way. I will DEFINITELY order more Lumino blinds for the rest of my windows. Great product, great price!

These blinds were easy to install and size is exactly what you order. However, there is a privacy issue. After installing the blinds at night I walked outside my house to the bedroom where I installed them. Well, you can look through the large string holes and clearly see everything. If I had a lot of neighbors then I would install a roller shade over the top of the blinds and pull down the shade night.

Measured inside window frame to inside window frame as they said and it fit perfectly! I like the sturdiness of the blind. It pulls down and pushes up. Not flimsy at all. Looks great and also when closed, really provides full privacy unlike some previous blinds.

I purchased two of these to use on our doors that have a 9 pane window built into them. The quality is great, and I found them very easy to assemble. I had a small issue with one of the two blinds and the company provided great customer service. My only recommendation is for those who are drilling into drywall, you'll have better results if you use a drywall anchor.

Good item quick install. Would have been easier if I could have moved the furniture from under the window, but that would have been a ton of work. You must use the brackets that come with the blind! I was replacing a blind and these are brand specific. As long as the mounting brackets are placed properly they should snap rt into place..
