Really lovely little fireplace. It even looks great in a fairly large room and goes well with family antiques. I have not had the opportunity to use it as a heater as it is still very warm in Los Angeles. It came fully assembled and was so easy to set up. Smaller than online images. Attaching heating unit to base was very difficult as need child sized hands to get into space and no pre-drilled holes. Remote and heating seem good so far.

I was worried about how loud fan would be. Was a light hum. Instructions were pictures only. The top is very loose. I may add glue. Took me half a day to put together by myself but was pretty easy. 4 stars cuz Flame on remote won't go up. You can turn down but you have to turn off to reset flame back up. Heats up room pretty well. (70 to 76 in about an hour) ... show more

I absolutely hate this!!! It is beyond cheap looking and ugly! There is nothing sturdy about it! For nearly 500 dollars, I was expecting something a whole lot better. The pictures used to sell this cheap piece of furniture are gorgeous but not at all accurate.

I bought this as an extra heat source in my bedroom, absolutely love it. It has a remote and runs great. I really like that I can set it for a certain temperature and it kicks on and off as needed.
