  • Good yard sprayer
I've ran this for 5 tanks now. It's a good sprayer for your yard. I like the product itself. The recirculation part is a major plus as it keeps the chemical mixed up. I run the pump during filling to throughly mix the chemicals. The booms work good. The wand? Cheap. I don't like the wand, I'll be replacing it soon. My real complaint? The nuts and bolts sent with it. I was missing 4 bolts, couple of washers. Which, during assembly? Yup. Run to the hardware store. Other's have complained about it leaking out of the box. Tighten the clamps, good grief, how hard is that? The hose leading from the pump to the booms was too short. I cut a piece from the wand hose and fixed that. One of the clamps on a boom arm was loose, but the screw head on the clamp was too the inside of the boom arm. I had to cut the zip tie, loosen and rotate the clamp, then tighten and replace the zip tie. All in all, with a hardware store 10 minutes from me, the missing parts added about an hour to the assembly. Other than the missing parts and the clamp problem? I'm happy with the unit. I love the recirculating feature as it keeps the mix, mixed up. I will completely replace the wiring. That's not a issue with the sprayer as they have to do what is needed to fit many different applications. Just saying so you are ready to replace the wiring from your lawn mower to the pump. I'm going to replace the on off switch with a rocker switch plus hard wire it to the battery. My preference. I'll be using my sprayer a lot so I need a dedicated wiring solution. The wand? I'll be replacing it soon. The wand works, yes. Do I like the wand? No. I'm still giving it a 5 star rating. I like this sprayer and am happy that I bought it. When it comes to something like this? You will never have a (one size fits all) kind of system. Too many variables for the manufacturer. So. All in all? I like the sprayer. Would recommend it. ... show more

  • Great sprayer. A bit pricey for a small tank, IMO.
Size: 21 Gallon
So far so good... wish I had bought the larger size before prices jumped so much - my bad for procrastinating. Be sure to really tighten the hose clamps (more than you think you need to), otherwise you will have leaks. Once there are no leaks, it works like a champ.

  • Assembly instructions would have been nice Assembly instructions would have been nice
Size: 21 Gallon
My 40 year old sprayer bit the dust one last time and it wasn't cost effective to replace the aged rubber hoses and install a second pump, not to mention the pneumatic tires after 40 years had dry rotted to pieces. This little sprayer seemed a good option to try, even knowing that it won't likely give me the same life of performance but hey, I'll probably be dead before I can say "I told you so" in another 40 years. Biggest beef: Include the dang instructions for us old farts. What did the company save, like a dollar? Instead they include a QR code and you have to scroll through dozens of products to download a pdf that is freaking hard to read on a phone. So I lost a day until I could get it transferred and printed to take to the shop where the pieces lay strewn on the floor (always keep a grandkid or two around for your tech support with getting the instructions). Having said all that, I confess I lied and like any good man already started assembly without the instructions ofc. Advantages. The boom arms are spring hinged so if you whack a bush, they will fold out of the way rather than ripping off the tank or some other horrendous casualty. This tank has a drain (my old one did not which was a pain in the rump to flip it up end just to clean. And for winter storage, this is designed to hang from a wall hook in the barn (+++). Tank attachment holes lined up well with the trailer support holes. Annoyances. Plastic spray nozzles, barbs and valves. Got it, its the way of production today but they'll probably not last a couple years. For me, I harvested the brass nozzles from the old sprayer when things were built durable. Brass barbs and mini valves would be highly recommended (available at the hardware or Amazon) for anyone that wants to better ensure lasting performance. The tank 'lid' screws in and at first did not want to thread straight. Set your sprayer in the sun for a little while then try again, pressing down squarely to screw in. The cold plastic tank may have been a little distorted and much easier to 'fix' with the sun trick. One reviewer complained about the hitch but from the pics it look like it was assembled wrong. When assembled correctly and driven at sane speeds, I found no issues with the hitch so far. Don't forget to put the gasket in the drain cap before screwing it on. Actually mine still leaked because the gasket was cut. Easy, easy fix; a garden hose gasket fit right in and sealed the bugger up tight with no dribbles. Also check tight any preinstalled hose clamps; mine were loose and would have immediately leaked. Wiring comes with battery clamps and an inline switch. I promptly cut that off and replaced with an auto connector to match the aux wire on the tractor which I control with my LED missile control firing switch installed on the tractor instrument panel. Final assembly shown in the pics. Towing is adjustable in height to adapt to one of my garden tractors or to the ATV. ... show more

  • Great buy
Size: 21 Gallon
First let's start with me being a little sceptical after reading some of the reviews concerning assembly and poor instructions. After getting my 21 gal sprayer I took everything out of the box and layed out all of the parts. Everything was there except one item. Then I realized the instructions were for 2 sprayers and the part I was missing was for the other sprayer. Problem solved. Assembly was pretty straightforward and everything went right together. I did have to adjust one of the plates where the axle went through to make it spin a little easier but other than that, pretty easy. I did tighten up all of the hose clamps during assembly. I filled the tank with about 6 gal of water to test for leaks and to adjust the tank pressure for the spray. No leaks and it puts out a nice even spray. I have a 1/2 acre lot in a rural farm area and have a lot is weeds and puncturevine. I found the use of the sprayer to be very easy and the on/ off switch to be very convenient. Now I just have to let the herbacide do its job and probably respray in about 2 weeks to catch the stuff I missed. Good purchase. Just read the instructions and don't overthink it. It's simple and straight forward. Yes the hoses will leak if you don't tighten them. Do it during assembly. I would definitely recommend this product. ... show more

  • Important to know when assembling…
Size: 21 Gallon
Very well made sprayer that works as advertised. Just follow the directions and take your time when assembling, and be advised, ALL of the hose clamp fittings need to be tightened before 1st use. Don’t use a screwdriver, use a proper sized nut driver to get them tight.

  • More efficient than tow-behind broadcast spreader, way moreso than a backpack sprayer.
Overall, it's what you can expect for this price from a budget tool brand. It goes together well, tech support is great. The chassis, axle, wheels and tires, and the overall tank build seem very sturdy. Even the sprayer arms seem decent; they do fold back if you accidentally crash them into something. The rest of the parts are a little less sturdy, but are all wear parts. Hoses of this kind will need replacement after a few years, fittings are plastic will fail as well. The pump and is obviously the most sophisticated part of the product. The electric motor half of the pump is low budget, but it's only an electric motor, they are not very complicated. The pumphead half is low budget as well, all plastic. The internal rubber diaphrams are wear parts as well, and will need to be replaced after a few seasons, and won't last one season if left with any water inside overwinter. I will definitely cycle some antifreeze into the system over winter. The regulator is all plastic as well. My regulator came from the factory with the pressure gauge way overtightened and so overloaded with white teflon tape that the fitting was flared out and leaked out of the box. To solve that leak, back it out carefully, clean away all the old tape from the gauge and the inside of the regulator body, add new teflon to the gauge, and hand tighten it. Only three wraps of tape. Don't gob it on there like they did at the factory. I also had leaks out of the box at the sprayer nozzles. For this you want to grab a couple of 1/2 inch black o-rings from the hardware store and use them behind the nozzles. I also had a leak at the drain cap, which is poorly formed and weak, this too benefit from some wraps of teflon tape. The red knob is a pressure adjustment, that works by opening the suction up to some air. If your pump turns on but does not start, first check for a vacuum leak on the intake side of the pump by making sure the hose tensioners are snuggly screwed and that the hoses are not broken anywhere. The hose tensioners are cheap as well, and easy to overtighten, which damages the tensioner. If there is no vacuum leak, the pump needs to be primed. Do that by removing the hose from the intake straw and then sticking the intake hose right inside of your garden hose to blast some water up there into the pump. Gets great coverage and has made my lawn and garden applications a stress free and fast process. 31 gallons is plenty of juice for my lot, which is about 30,000 square feet of lawn. Had to fill a backpack sprayer four to six times for good coverage. Very easy now to spray my grape vines and fruit trees as well. Edit: checking in after one year, this spreader has held up very well. The hand sprayer cracked over the winter, obviously there was still some fluid somewhere in the handle that I failed to drain. I replaced it with a metal hand sprayer. Otherwise, I have zero complaints. ... show more

  • NOT RECOMMENDED
Size: 21 Gallon
It's a piece of junk. First, no assembly instructions. They do provide a QR code that takes you to an absolute joke of a website that lists ALL their products on one page. One as to scroll a LONG way down to find this one. They could've easily categorized their products in order to find the manual. Second, once manual is downloaded it makes it very clear to make sure the version of the manual matches the version of the unit. Their manual is version G and my unit is version H. I don't know what the difference is between the versions. Third, parts were missing from the box. Thankfully, they are just the axle washers, so I'm able to assemble this without them and I'll contact them later. Third, after fixing all the leaks at the hose connections, I wasn't able to fix the leaks at the boom spray nozzle. They provided no type of rubber seal. I had to go to the hardware store to purchase o-rings to stop the nozzles from leaking. Overall, the manufacturer is a joke and would not recommend buying anything from them. I haven't used it yet, but from the other reviews I've read I'm not thinking it's going to last very long before it quits working. ... show more

  • Lots of adjustments are needed
It arrived in the box that was a little beat up, tape holding the top to the sides was broken at both ends. Opened box up and I was hopeful that all the parts were there. fortunately they were. The small box the pump should have been in was crushed and the pump was just laying in the large box. To assemble the sprayer, you need to go to a website and get the assembly instructions there. (saves paper for them, I printed it out for my convenience and I prefer a paper copy) Assembly was pretty straight forward. After I had it assembled, I filled it with water and powered it up. I had a small fountain, The hose clamps I had to tighten were fine, my mistake was I assumed the factory ones were tight. Turned it off and tightened all the factory installed hose clamps. Powered it back up and still had a small leak where the hose barb comes out of the regulator. It was coming from where the hose barb was screwed into the regulator. Disconnected hose and unscrewed the plastic hose barb, There I found "the almost 1 wrap" of Teflon tape was not enough to cut it. Wrapped it with new Teflon tape and re-installed. Leak was gone. All good now or so I thought. I then tried adjusting the regulator that is supplied. It is supposed to control the pressure and divert some of the liquid from the tank back into the tank to keep it mixed up. Well, I tried increasing and decreasing the pressure. When decreasing, the pressure would drop for a little bit and some water would discharge back into the tank, then the discharge would slow down and stop while the pressure started to climb again without touching the regulator. So the regulator is not really regulating. It would be nice if I could control the pressure better to reduce the amount of fine mist that is created from the higher pressure. 3 stars are due to regulator issue, otherwise it's a decent unit. ***Update: I emailed the company for support on 8/11. 10 days later still have heard nothing from them. ... show more
