I'm forever looking for a simple, comfortable, durable, casual beach/boat slip-on shoe. I never knew about these. This is the one. The best I've found in modern times. It's a very simple design. Solid rubber sole, leather lower area, canvas upper. A decent thin, soft insole. None of the thick foamy lining and elastic of other cheap junkers. No padding inside, just canvas and leather vs skin. Perfect for use on a boat or at the beach house, or to slip on and run to the store. Harkens back to the shoes of old. It's true to size. I normally take a Men's 11.5 in average width. I bought both available colors in 11.5.... Perfect fit. The downside is this like an old-school shoe. Not stuffed with memory foam and elastic. There will be a break-in/stretch period, and a period for your skin to adjust to the canvas rub. It's not a shoe to buy and throw on for the first time on a tropical vacation where you are walking miles and miles without socks. If you this, there will be pain. That being said, I freaking love these. I scooped up the two available colors, in fear it will be discontinued in favor or more modern junk designs. If you need a casual slip on summer shoe, get a pair. They seem great so far. ... show more

These are my official on the boat fishing and being Captain shoes. Even the dogs know when I get these out we are headed to the lake. So well made beautiful color. Great shoes for the money very comfortable and light. I even waked on the boat ramp in the water with is normally slippery but with these on has no slipping. Definitely give these a try. Will be buying again in the future.
