The Extra-Wide Wire Mesh Petgate is specially designed for wide openings. The gate pressure mounts easily and securely without the use of hardware. Simply position and lock in place. It will do the job but they are cheaply made plus you have to remove it every time you want to go through. Ended up buying another gate with a door in it. Metal. Much better

It is easily installed and removed,I use them to keep my dogs in the L shaped hall when I am going to be gone for awhile.With the doggie door, fenced yard with food and water they are safe.

This is the third gate I’ve bought from Amazon to keep my new toy poodle puppy in the kitchen. It actually works! Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I wish it were shorter. I’m 5’9” and it’s a little difficult to climb over. I just set it up, so hopefully over time it gets easier.

The gate in itself is a great idea, sturdy wood, tall, etc. But unless you plan on keeping it stationary, I would not purchase. The bar is really hard to pull up when you want to move the gate, and when you do it dislodges the whole gate. Hard to put back up, also annoying to have to reset it every time I want to exit a room. I’ve ended up with some pretty dented door frames even being gentle replacing it when moved. ... show more
