We’ve been using this bed for two months and so far we’ve been happy with it. The setup took about an hour and was pretty simple. We didn’t have any issues with defective parts or missing pieces so it went together perfectly. We have hard floor in our bedroom and we haven’t gotten a rug yet, but the bed sits evenly with very minimal rocking when you sit on one side. I love the light oak shade. Up close you can tell it isn’t real wood but it looks good for the price. We don’t have pets or kids so it doesn’t get much wear and tear around the edges. So far it’s remained in excellent condition. I was nervous about buying something cheaper but I think we’ll go ahead and purchase the side tables and dresser as well since this turned out in our favor. ... show more

I was afraid it wasn’t going to be sturdy enough and cheap made but it’s just great quality, it took us about 30- 40 minutes to assemble, very easy, just read/follow all the instructions!

I held off on buying this bed due to all of the negative reviews, but finally pulled the trigger. Very glad that I did. Bed frame was easy to assemble and I did not have the assembly issues that other reviewers described. Best to read the whole directions before starting though to avoid the "upside down black rails" that another reviewer mentioned. Took 1 hour and 15 minutes from start to finish. Bed seems very stable and handles a 12" memory foam mattress that weighs around 75 lbs. with no give/flexing/creaking. No issues with the size of the frame as called out by another reviewer. I have a Sealy queen and it fits the frame perfectly. Also, I experienced no "off-gassing" as mentioned in another review and I have a sensitive sense of smell, so if there was one, I would detect it. The only concern I have is that the black plastic end caps for the slats are pretty fragile. I tried to pull one of the slats back out of the holes and the plastic end cap broke. Not sure what this means for when it comes time to move the bed, but am anticipating that I'll need to order new end caps for the slats then. Regarding LED lighting, I did have to re-do that as I was not happy with the original placement. I initially placed the light strip facing down on the underside of the two metal bars on the sides of the frame. That left a hard line on the floor where the light shines from under the bed. I ended up moving the light strip to the center piece about 5 inches off the ground and faced them out towards the sides of the bed. I had to drill 3 holes (one at the base of the center piece and two on the "T" cross piece) to allow the strips to pass through. Very happy with the effect with this approach. Just adding that so others know what to expect from either placement option. Overall, very happy with the bed. No regrets. ... show more

This bed is really great and was mostly what I was looking for. I will say the wood looks only slightly lighter than the picture, but it looks great. My mattress fits perfectly on this too. As far as the “float” effect, this bed frame is still really low to the ground and the floating space is about 2-3 inches. I wasn’t looking for anything super significant when it came to that so this is fine for me. There was no “odor” as far as one review stated, it just smelled like fresh wood. It adds just enough height and give to my bed, it’s very comfortable. As for assembly, the instructions are actually really easy. If you mess up just use a set of pliers to take dowels and other stuff out if you mess up. I assembled this by myself in about 1 1/2 hours. The worse part would probably be the 4 brackets, I swear I went through hell and back tryna screw those in. Just pay attention to all the holes. Don’t over complicate it, the assembly is really easy otherwise. ... show more

Away from the color being a bit more faded light wood, the bed looks same as the photo. It took me about 55 mins to complete the assembly and I am small and doughy. So, doesn't need a full pack of muscle to maneuver assembling this item. However, the box it comes it is a bit heavy and would not be movable unless you are using a good hand truck. You would need two people to lift the box for a stair. If you are looking for a low profile feel, this might not work. It does look that way due to how it is on the photo but the height is a pretty much a regular bed height. To achieve the similar look, you would need to make your bedroom pretty empty. ... show more

I was not excited to put this together after unpacking the 10+ pieces of laminate wood and the 100+ screws, nuts and bolts. But the set-up was not as difficult as I thought. I put everything together on my own in about two hours despite their two person recommendation. And this is including the two snack breaks and a mental break(down) where I was just slumped against the wall staring at the materials so in theory this should only take you an hour or so to put together if you’re full and focused The only mistake I made that made me a little nervous was putting the wooden dowels in the wrong hole but I was able to easily correct my mistake by using a pair of pliers to fish the dowels out. The bed itself seems sturdy and well made. I love that it’s low. I love the minimal modern look. No complaints so far. The bed is easily movable thanks to four thumbtacks on each corner which make it easy to move and clean around. Definitely don’t think it’s worth $257 but I already bought it so...no use crying over it. ... show more
