I bought a 121 year old farm house, and restored the fireplace, from 90 layers of shiny latex paint, back to the wood. After staining and finishing it, I needed to figure out a quick, easy fix for the ancient, degraded mirror above the mantle. It was inset into the wall and mantle frame, and would be hard to remove, and even harder to replace. So, to just make it look better for now, until I decide on a permanent fix, I bought this and it looks fantastic!! I am so very happy with how real and beautiful it looks. I wish I had done this years ago! The only downside is that it looks so good, it will encourage my tendency to procrastinate. I probably won’t even think about the “more permanent solution” again, for a decade! ... show more
