Bought this for my husband and he loved it! He said it was lightweight and very sharp. We used it for trout opener and it cut through 15+ inches of ice quickly and effectively. He has a Milwaukee hammer drill that he used it with and a 18v 5ah battery, even with the small battery it still cut through the thick ice good. Bought the auger back in 2021, have used it every year since. Has held up great. Haven’t had to change the blades yet but I think I’ll do it this year. Easy to use and works very well. When I first got it and up until last year, it punches hole in the ice very fast. Good auger for the price.

I was really excited to use this unit on my Dewalt cement mixing drill but the flighting wouldn’t fit in my Kolpin mounts on my atv. I didn’t get to use it but I could tell the quality was there.

Using it with a 1/2" Milwaukee M18 hammer drill, in drill only mode and this things eats thru the ice in seconds. No need for spare batteries either. I had to stop folks from drilling holes, because it worked that well.

Works like a dream. We were drilling 12-16 inches in seconds with ease. We used a makita 18 volt 1/2 inch drill and drilled multiple holes on one battery. I would recommend and purchase this again

Game changer on the ice, just keep an eye on your bolt that holds the drill to the head, keep it tight, but this thing cranks through the ice with ease, keep your blades sharp or replace them to keep the drill in top shape, love this an absolute game changer.
