This bed frame is perfect for under-bed storage. I have several suitcases and storage bins that fit perfectly (based on other reviews I may have gotten lucky with the storage bins but I'd just buy specific storage bins if possible to fit underneath), and I've been able to add more boxes under there too. I live in a city apartment so storage space is a hot commodity and this bed frame has provided! As far as I can tell the frame is incredibly sturdy and I haven't heard it make a sound since I've had it. My only issue is I sometimes kick the middle support because I just don't see it but that's really on me. It's cute and durable enough to justify the price, I even think it's a good deal! I expect to get at least 5 years out of the bed frame but I could see it lasting forever.

Bought for my dad to replace his 40 year old unsupportive bed rail and give him some storage underneath. He wouldn’t take it…. I put it together anyway and it is very sturdy and secure. I won’t need a box spring for it which is great and there’s a good clearance height underneath for storage. I’ll be putting an air mattress on it for now for guests to use. The cross bars secure at the ends not the middle so as another review mentioned, I am putting rubber or felt bumpers on the center rail where the cross bars meet. The cross rails sit on top of the center support rail so as body weight shifts the rails may or may not touch and the metal on metal makes a noise so I’ll put a bumper on each just in case.
