The type of saddle I was looking for was covered in plastic (easily cleaned). We had some of those but they had gotten lost over the years. But these are a good alternative. They are basically super thick pool noodles that you can sit on. I do not know how durable these will be considering that they are pool-noodle material but they will last for a few seasons I suppose. They do work and the leg openings are large, comfortable and great for adults. Children should not use these as they do require a certain amount of weight to use. ... show more

I ordered this for 4th of July weekend on the boat. I got the larger one so the weight limit worked for all of us. My husband used it too! It was a little difficult for me to get on in the water but everyone else had no problem. It will keep you floating to waist or chest level depending on your weight. Works great! Very durable yet very light weight. I was very satisfied with it. I had bought a similar item at a pool store a few years ago & paid triple the price, so this was a great deal in my eyes! I was looking for something smaller than tubes to take on the boat and these are perfect. I bought 2 and they fit behind the seats, so take up almost no space and they are perfect to sit in the water. Balance took a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it these are like chairs in the water. Had some of these at my cabin, but sold them when we sold the cabin. Quickly realized that was a mistake because we still spend time on lakes, and like to float. These are perfect for holding you afloat, and you can still hold your seltzer! Highly recommend!

I thought the item was going to have more of a soft rubbery feel because those were the only ones I had ever seen. I was not pleased with the way it rubs the inside of your leg. Personally, I think it’s worth the extra money to get the other ones.
