    • Very good - slight adjustment needed.
Excellent ! the only issue was that the dovetail was too small to receive the micrometer - the problem was that that lockwasher was a little too big and it was pressing it closed. I removed the lockwasher and put it in a vise to slightly tamp down the teeth and now the dial indicator fits like a glove.. Minor issue with the lockwasher - i will likely forget that ten years from now - but I'm sure I will still be using this noga! ... show more

    • Pricey but worth it.
A bit expensive but I like it. Better than the standard indicator holder. Easily moves into any position you want and then locks down tight. I did notice a very small movement while locking it down but not a problem. I bought this one before buying the magnetic base version because it was slightly cheaper so I could see if I liked the system. I'll be buying the magnetic base version in the near future. ... show more

    • Buy nice or by twice and this is nice
Likes: Noga products this is very rigid and easy to move as needeed. The holder for the indicator has more mounting options than other Noga models. Adjustment is crisp and consistent. I bought an Edge Technology version of the same thing first but was annoyed that it had no lock and was not rigid and would move if bumped or table travel was too far. Dislikes: My only complaint is that the stem that gets inserted into the collet is a 5/16". I really wish it was 3/8 like most holders or at least offer a 3/8 stem version it would save a tool change as most edge finders are 3/8" or 1/2" but it is a minor complaint as Noga lives up to their quality name and so far I haven't found any better options. ... show more

    • NOGA is always a class act!
I use this adapter with an indicator that has a travel of 15-0-15 ! So the fine adjustment on the end of the adapter is a must! I would even like to have the fine adjustment even finer! But it gets the job done! This what I use to align my rotary table on the Bridgeport Mill and it works good!

Very nice but you'll need to use a collet holder for it because diameter is metric so no hard body holder, no biggie. But it is quite long. Not like the average Swiss made holders for your interapid indicators. Which probably most people reading this use on their CNC mills. I like this particular one because it has a fine tune adjusting know which works great when your indicator is up against the surface of part and your dial bezel is tight or very sensitive. I highly recommend this product and will probably buy at least one more. ... show more

    • Fine adjustment holder is a flaw
The arm is great but The fine adjustment holder is garbage. Buy the one with the 3/8" indicator holder and make 1 /4" adapter if you use back plunger indicators.
