Dead silent, and my mobo can adjust RPM by voltage so I don't need the PWM version. Noctua doesn't make up any stats, everything they list is 100% true. The only thing is that I don't need another molex adapter; I have too many of those already. I would have appreciated a 3 pin splitter instead.

In Ham radio, you need quiet in the shack (To hear those faint long distance calls on the radio) But you also need power. These amps create a lot of heat and an external fan was needed. The problem was the fans all created noise, until I found this one. Its large size and output was more then enough to keep the amp area cool, and the fan its-self created no noise that I could hear. I am amazed and will buy these fans for now on. Understand its only been a week, and i will update if something goes wrong. Also note I used only 2 of the 3 wires, taking power directly from my 13.8vdc power supply. Cheers AE0DC

This is a quiet fan. I bought it to replace a cpu fan and was disappointed to realize that I had bought he 3 pin version that is just always on at full tilt. It's quiet for how much air it moves, I'll give them that. I just wish I would have bought the 4pin so that my mobo could control the speed. Alas, I was also out of town for a while and occupied when it came in, so I missed the return window, and the thing isn't cheap!

Wanted quieter because old fans were too loud to clearly hear details from ambient music. Excellent design and build quality. Came with extra full rim anti-vibration gasket for water cooling radiators and cable extensions, which I needed. Works as advertised. Purchased two fans. Low noise, barely perceptible compared to original dual noisy fans that were replaced that came with CPU Hydro cooler radiator. So quiet compared to old fans was in disbelief and had to double check the system was actually running. Happy I found these and only wished I had done so sooner!

Makes my low noise liquid cooling build even quieter.

I put a couple of these on their NH-U12S heat sink and I am very impressed by all metrics so far. There is very little noise from the pair even when my CPU is at load leaving lovely temperature readings. They were not a fuss at all to install and I imagine these would be perfect for those looking to replace AIO fans.

I bought 2 of these to replace some fans in a mini fridge that we WAY too loud. I thought these could reduce the noise and they FAR exceeded my expectations. The fridge is completely silent except for the compressor. Definitely recommend!
