  • My New Go-To Chair
I ended up buying 2 more of these because they fit so well at practically any desk, all for a great price. I wanted something that didn’t look too much like ugly office furniture, and this is definitely it. The mesh makes it look a bit more modern and geometric back shape is cool. I needed a chair that fits under a 27.5” desk while still being able to lift up high enough so I could sit in it comfortably. The seat is 22” tall at full extension. I did find that it was easier to attach the backrest by setting the chair upside down on a stool. Then it was easier to line up the bolts to connect it. I ended up leaving the headrest off and found that it makes it feel less obtrusive in our space, but it’s there if I want to add it on later. I’ve been sitting in it every day for over 4 months and haven’t noticed any wear, tear, or degradation issues, so I can confidently say it is a very durable chair at a great price. ... show more

  • Solid chair, excellent value, good customer service
I was looking for a good, ergonomically-sound chair at a reasonable price, and this chair checks pretty much all the boxes. Back is mesh, but solid and supportive; I've sat in cheap mesh chairs that poke you in places, and this doesn't. The seat is a firm but not hard cushion. Arm and head rests are all adjustable. I initially received a chair with a slightly dinged back; I don't blame quality control for not noticing, it wasn't evident until I tried to attach the headrest and couldn't because part of the back was damaged. Best guess is a previous buyer broke a little piece off and then returned it. Anyway, long story short I contacted the seller and they immediately sent me a replacement back, and all was well. ... show more

  • As advertised, a solid basic chair lacking advanced adjustments.
If you are looking for the two functions pictured in the photo attached to this review, this is NOT the chair you want. These two knobs exist on OTHER chairs, (NOT the Noblewell chair I am reviewing) and they are very, very nice to have. However, they are luxuries. If you can survive without those two adjustments, then you should consider this Noblewell office chair. This chair is good for sitting up straight with. It's reasonably sturdy, and has held up for a month's use approximately with no signs of giving up the ghost. It also reclines, and has a headrest, so if you can nap in a reclining office chair it might help you with some Z's. What it WON'T do is win you any envy, or a raise. It's just a chair with a brand that sounds like a Chinese guy took a cool-sounding word in Chinese and ran it through Google translate. In fact, that is most likely where this brand name came from. Rest assured that it is the same chair being sold by 5-10 other oddly-named corporations based in China. Back to functionality though. This chair will not allow you to adjust the angle of recline and lock it into place. You have two options: kingly posture or springy recliner. That is unfortunate for me, because I'm not kingly and sometimes I don't feel like napping. However, it very clearly advertises that it is lacking said feature, so how could I dock it points for not having a feature it professes not to have? If you want that feature, you will need to pay extra to get a better chair. Your call. If you want kingly posture + napping, this is the chair for you. I do like that the arms are height-adjustable, unlike chairs from 1918. Would I buy it again? For the price, I don't think I'd find anything better. However, I do like my office chair at home better, and I probably paid less for that one 8-10 years ago than I did for this one. That one will lock in at any angle of reclining, and also has an angle-adjustable seat (as shown in the picture). However, thanks to inflation, and the ever-increasing race to the lowest possible quality in a bid to raise profit margins, such chairs apparently cannot be had anymore except at great cost from premium brands. Maybe I'll just work from home more. ... show more

  • Bought it twice (:
My husband and I both work from home and we had much more bulky chairs. It’s what we were looking for but we did my them during lighting sells, so less than a $100 each. I waited a while couldn’t bring myself to spend $200 on one chair.

  • Chair
Chair is surprisingly comfortable. Packaging is dog water but nothing came damage. Easy to put together. It’s advertised as a XL chair but looks like any other chair for a smaller person under 3”4 and I’m 6”2. Overall I love it.

  • Dorm purchase
Purchased for my daughter’s dorm room. Significant upgrade compared to provided wooden chair. Great value for the quality, time will tell regarding the durability.

  • loved the chair, but its fragile.
loved everything about this chair for months and months but now the gas piston is already sinking and my headrest broke off all during normal everyday use, and the company does not sell replacement parts on their website so im having to order 3rd party parts and hoping they are compatible to fix its shortcomings. if you want a durable chair, this one might not be the best fit. that being said i do love the seat cushion and the backrest spring, its really smooth and satisfying to rock in, its the main reason i bought the chair because a friend of mine had the same one. ... show more

  • Great chair needs better Allen wrench & back/front seat distinction!
I’m an itinerant therapist for a local school district. The “teacher chairs” provided in this district are known to cause pain & agony and do not adjust to the various desk or table heights encountered throughout the district. Consequently I’m trying to prevent further injury (eg: carpal tunnel corrective surgery of both wrists) in making sure the chair I use offers appropriate support and the ability to adjust to whatever sort of desk or table I use in the paperwork required in my profession. This chair is wonderful, but I wish they’d provided a better Allen wrench & that the seat of this chair indicated back & front on the underside of the chair! If you seek good support doing your job’s data entry (aka: paperwork), get this chair! ... show more
