These shades are GREAT. I’ve purchased a few and they really are so easy to install. The quality is fantastic. They are extremely well constructed. Also, their customer service is terrific. I received a shade that was missing the brackets so I contacted them (“M Mayer Store”) and they sent me replacement brackets right away. Lastly if you have an odd sized window and can’t determine the exact shade size or can’t get the shades you ordered to fit exactly, you can always just leave it very slightly crooked and then hide the lopsided part by pinning up the valance underneath with a thumb tack. The entire shade will look like it’s straight. I had to do this and it looks perfect and functions just fine 😀 I’m going to order more. Highly recommend! Nov 2023 Update: As of now I’ve purchased 7 of these blinds. They really are great once you get the hang of installing them. You can fold them over a curtain rod if you’re unable to use the brackets. And if you don’t have a window frame at all, you can just nail it to the wall (like the song) underneath the valance and it will still work just fine but you might need to be a LITTLE gentle pulling it down. Best of all, they can easily work as a “top-down/bottom-up” shade if you just mount the entire thing halfway down the inside of your window frame. I don’t know if that was obvious all along, but I just realized this and am pretty stoked 😅 ... show more

The quality and weight of this blind is great. Lived there opacity of the blind. I tried 3 diff shades before breaking down and buying this one. The house is 100 yrs old and this window is both uniquely shaped and narrow layered mill work. This was easy to install and stays put. The cordless blind is Easy to raise and lower. The shade was just a little too narrow for our window. My husband had measured and thought it should have fit. He was able to make to little bump outs and paint them to match our trim and made it work! I looooooove the look of them.     • Awful!!!! Negative rating but it won’t let me go on if I don’t give it a one.
I ordered a 28” and got a 27! Doesn’t fit the window and I’m out of my return. Would not recommend this to anyone unless they come back and say they will fix this or refund my money. I will give horrible reviews for this product.

    • Looks nice but no privacy
We ordered these blinds for ease of installation and they look nice for the price; however, from the outside of the house you can see straight into the rooms where each of these blinds are used. We had to order extra liners to put behind them to ensure privacy.
