I used 2 of these for my front door thats made of glass. my dog loves to "bake" here in the sun but it just gets too powerful for her. I'm sure this product works but be sure the window faces nothing important.. The reflective material (like most of the others) looks horrible when viewed from the outside. The hook and loop (velcro) curtains do the same thing, more sizes, more stable, cheaper and look far better from the outside.

This shade is so easy to put on any window. It holds for a few weeks. It occasional falls off the window. It is convenient to use but will not stay up permanently. I recommend the product.
