I'm revising my former 3 star ratinh to 5 stars. Rationale: This has been a very sturdy shade in my windowed shower. I have spray cleaned it of shampoo/conditioner for over 80 times and it has dried very well. I roll it up after it dries and it appears as if new. If the side light is not a problem, I recommend this product. Original: We have an aluminum framing around our shower window. The roller mechanism fit tightly in, so our measurements were correct. And thank goodness they were (we couldn't tighten the roller, for instance, because it just fit) because the shade is a bit narrow on the sides. The shade fits - no question. However, the mechanism's width is long. Naturally, the shade has to be adjusted to the roller. This allows light to enter on the side. Not a good shade if you are seeking "blackout" of light. For us, it is ok but does not look like the one advertised.

I live in a NYC studio with a flex wall in the bedroom that has a big window like hole to let light into the rest of the apartment. Obviously that makes my bedroom not so great privacy wise, but this product was a great solution. Now I can pull down the shade and have a proper separation between the bedroom and living room. Super easy to install because it is a tension rod. Great value, and works as intended. It’s also very sturdy and I don’t have to worry about it falling down.

These are great blackout shades and very easy to install. Cici was extremely helpful in making sure our measurements were correct and they do a phenomenal job of blocking out light. There will be a gap on both sides of the shade but you can buy a side light blocker which I did not do. Some light comes through but it isn't a problem. The shades were incredibly easy to install. This is a great product.

Fit perfect in window, is water resistant and splashes easily wipe away. I've used for a few months now and now issues. Will be ordering 2 more for additional windows. I have a large picture window on the front of my house. The tree in our front yard had to be cut down and now we have a lot more sunshine coming in. We live in Florida, so summers can be brutal. These are the easiest blinds that I have ever installed. Hint..keep the blinds tied until you install them. I like how they hardly show at the top of my window when they are up. I chose the light filtering blinds, not the blackout blinds, because I like the light, and we don't have neighbors to worry about. Cici double checked my measurements when I sent a picture of my window frame and measuring tape. They fit perfectly!
