    • Sturdy, easy to assemble and cute
I am very satisfied with this item. At first, I hesitated about the assembly but once I hot started it was easy. I love the store capacity of each cube. I will be using to store my handbags and some are tall and made of Safino leather which is stiff. The material is sturdy and advertised as waterproof. I happy with the look inside my closet and the price was reasonable. I used the mallet to secure the connectors and heard the click. I anticipate it will hold in place.     • Nice storage capacity but TERRIBLE to assemble
Assembly NIGHTMARE. This is really poorly designed! I think it took about 2 hours total to make sure everything was fully in place (or as close as possible). It's MUCH more difficult than it should be to press the frames completely into the connectors. Especially when you have to press several into place at the same time, from all sides/dimensions. And the little wooden mallet is useless. I had trouble even whacking it hard with a big metal hammer. It was incredibly frustrating to have to hit/press/hammer so hard to TRY to get a stubborn one into place, only to have others pop out of place. It was never-ending. The way it's designed, there's too often no good place or method to get leverage and hold onto the other end of a piece you're trying to connect. And this was with TWO people - I don't even want to imagine putting this together by myself. I honestly almost slammed my hammer through one of the panels out of frustration. Whew. Ultimately I'm glad I didn't destroy it. Though I definitely have concerns about its stability, it offers a lot of space for a good price. It's lightweight, and the shelves hold a lot. It's great that it's 18" deep, which is maybe the main reason I bought it. Most cubes/systems are 11" deep, and maybe a few 14" instead. But I'm using this (basically as a dresser) in my closet which is about 22" deep, so it's the perfect size and best use of the space! The top is JUST below the rod for hanging clothes - as perfect a fit as possible. It looks decent - cheap materials but doesn't matter much since it's out of sight in my closet. It's worth repeating that I have concerns about its stability. I tried so hard to click every connector/frame fully into place, but that's nearly impossible. Some of the frame rods were easily bent just trying to force them into place. Again, this is clearly pretty poor design that makes it borderline shoddy. I can't imagine that anyone could get it perfectly connected and straight/flush. And the doors don't sit perfectly right - some are slightly off. Not always a big deal, except when you try to open just one but it catches another door above or below it. A few days ago this happened and the unexpected extra door opened directly into my eye. I was NOT happy. Fingers crossed that it will hold up well enough and not fall apart, though I won't be shocked if it doesn't hold up. In summary - bad design that makes assembly an incredibly frustrating nightmare of impossibility and imperfection. REALLY bad for perfectionists. But ample storage space, a good price/value, and MAYBE will stand up over time. We'll see about that. If it doesn't, I may come back here and edit my review. ... show more

    • Does its job
Assembly was a bit finicky but very capable. Make sure you apply pressure and fully insert the panels into the connections. Take your time and it will be sturdy enough. Took around 30-40 minutes. Im using it long ways in my closet for clothes. It works perfectly for this job. Im happy with it. It looks nicer then I expected. Wouldn't put it in the living room like the picture has it but as storage in a closet I say its perfect. Only reason for the 4/5 stars is that it was shipped to me with 2 missing panels. It ended up working for my application but I felt it had to be noted. Its good for the price. Remind yourself your buying storage shelves on a budget. They aren't the prettiest or the most sturdy hardwood shelving youll find, but look at the price tag. Its a real good deal for what it is. Peace out fellow humans ... show more

    • Not sturdy at all
When I purchased the product I was so happy how fast and quick it was to put together. It looks very nice and they even supply you with hanging rack so that you can hang your clothes on one side and create shelf storage on the other. They supply you with all of the tools needed to help build and assemble this unit. The downside is that the unit is not sturdy at all. When I first assembled the unit I had one side hanging up clothes and the other side was just shelf space. Later that night the whole unit collapsed. I figured it only collapsed because I had too many clothes hanging in the unit and I probably had too many things in the shelf space. To be clear on the hanging side I only had three sweaters and a jacket hanging up. And on the shelf side I only had two boxes filled with shirts and underwear. The second time assembling the unit I chose to take out the entire hanging up section and just make the unit completely shelf space. A few days later one side of the unit completely collapsed but this time I make sure that I had way less stuff packed inside the unit so that it wouldn’t fall another time but it did. I rebuilt it this time and make sure that I put way less stuff inside now practically making the unit just for show. I constantly find myself having to fix loose shelves constantly seeing shelves and doors popping out of places constantly seeing the little white things that they give you to hold the shelves into place are always falling out and pieces of the unit coming down along with it. Recently two shelves have fell out of place out of nowhere and the entire thing collapsed again, I am tired of having to constantly reassemble and fix this product so I am returning it. This product is a good buy if you have no problem reassembling the unit at least twice a week. ... show more

I was extremely excited to get this to organized my clothes that have been thrown around my room for months 🙃,well I had my husband put it together for me and he had no idea what i ordered he just puts it together no questions asked when I got home from work I looked at it and said wtf!?Him standing proudly said what’s the problem, lol ,I said what is it?,He said a cat cage,I have cats but no need for a cat cage I mean this thing was like a cat house!They sent the wrong item,I contacted the company and they immediately sent me out a storage closet the one that I ordered and it’s perfect! He said it was a lot easier to put together than the cat mansion 😂 It’s very sturdy and they had this nice Thank you card in the box explaining there business,I was impressed all around! ... show more

    • I use this in a different way
I don't use this for storage. I use the panels to create a room dividing screen. My screen is "L" shaped and stands on it's own. I just turn the connector discs flat so the "screen" doesn't tip over. Everyone asks me where I got my divider from because it's so neat looking.

    • Very collapsible - perfect for short leases and moves short term furniture
I got it because I wanted a storage solution that I could move in a car if I needed to ( I had a very short term lease and wanted to live on minimal furniture. It's kinda hard to assemble. The instructions are straightforward but the fixtures are quite tight and will be hard on your fingers. It is also wobbly and not quite sturdy. a 5 year old could knock it over easily. The zip ties keep it from disassembling but it's sagging a lot under the weight of my clothes. The doors do not snap closed. I ended up taking off the doors and buying storage cubes to use within because the doors would just hang open. The material is a staticky plastic that really attracts dust and hair so it always has this gritty gross texture. I havent figured out how to clean it yet. ... show more

    • Not really suitable for apps described - see review
First, it is flimsy although the description suggests it is strong and rigid. Second, it comes with this useless mallet thing for assembly - through it away and use an actual mallet - you'll hurt yourself when the head flies off. Third, the connector plastic pieces are weird - there is no orientation for them that actually gets them out of the way, and you need to plan in advance how to place and position them. If you screw up, and you will, the assembled unit won't sit right. It's also very easy to leave out pieces and tough to get them back together later. The connectors alone don't really do the job - when you're done you need to attach these tiny little clips that keeps it all together. That brings me to the heading comment - this is pitched as a good storage unit for kids. Those plastic clips are a serious choking hazard for young kids - please be extremely careful. Also, if you don't assure that each and every connector is fully engaged, it will tip, tilt or fall apart. The instructions aren't completely terrible, but they aren't nearly as helpful as they should be. Finally, there's no way it can hold as much weight as they suggest... and you need to be very aware of the center of gravity when you load the bins. That all said, I actually figured it would be a little flimsy given the price and the photos, and for me it was a reasonable purchase that I am OK with, but I do feel that the descriptions are misleading and you need to really read between the lines before purchasing. ... show more
