I am thoroughly impressed with these Tonature No Drill Cellular Shades! The quality of the material is excellent, and they do a fantastic job with blackout performance, thermal insulation, and even dampening outside noise. The biggest selling point for me was the installation. It was incredibly fast, simple, and truly required no drilling. The free-stop cordless mechanism glides beautifully and stays exactly where you want it. It gives the window a very clean, high-end look. The only caveat I have is regarding the sizing for the no-drill tension system. My window opening measured 35.5 inches, so I decided to order the 35-inch wide shades. While they fit securely, there is a small light gap on the right side where you extend the mechanism to lock it in place. If your window is on a half-inch mark like mine, I highly recommend rounding up to the next half-size instead of sizing down to get that perfect edge-to-edge blackout coverage. Overall, it's a stellar product that functions exactly as advertised. I will absolutely buy them for my other windows! ... show more

Fits well, adjusts well and works seamlessly. It took 30 seconds to install and most of that time was taking it out of the box. The shade fit the window perfectly and was easy to adjust with the hex screwdriver included. It's a pretty big shade; 65" long. I thought it might be heavy, and too heavy for the tension mechanism. It isn't. It has two handles for lifting and lowering. I'm delighted with the room darkening aspect. I will say that the shade doesn't go from window casing to window casing because the tension adjustment is only on one side. That doesn't bother me because when I close the shade, my back will be toward it and I won't see it. It's for an east-facing sitting room and blocking the sun at certain times of the day or the cold in the winter is really all I need it to do. It does that famously. ... show more

First- measure your space carefully. There is only about a quarter of an inch of adjustment to secure the shade. But it will be very secure! These shades are super easy to install. They go up and down with ease. We got the light filtering / room darkening ones and they make the room very dark. We don’t have any outside lights close by so I can’t comment if you are trying to block out street light. No need to close the curtains to make the room dark. Great value for the money. I’m very impressed with these cellular shades. The installation was extremely easy — no drilling, no hassle, everything clicked into place securely. The build quality is outstanding: the shades feel sturdy, durable, and smooth to operate every day. The blackout density is truly effective. Once closed, the room becomes perfectly dark, with no light leaks except the natural glow around the edges, which is normal for this style. So far so good! It does let in the teensiest bit of light from the top and sides (at least with my window) but not an issue in combo with curtains which I'd be using even if it didn't let in light. So far feels sturdy but will update review accordingly if anything happens. And finally, SUPER easy to install required virtually zero effort or diy skills! Update: worked perfectly for about a week and then came crashing down and won't stay up now. Shade itself also doesn't seem to want to retract now. I believe the adhesive pads on either end failed which caused it to slip. I reached out to the seller and they were kind enough to send a replacement! I'm hoping I can try to find a way to use the defective one because for the price it seems a shame to waste it. ... show more
