    • Careful, methodical application is key
The backing is a thin cellophane and it is very difficult to get a loose corner started. Once you finally get a corner of the backing loose, it's crucial to only peel a few inches at a time as you apply the film down the window. I used a ruler to start the cellophane pulling away in a straight line. My first attempt was a total disaster. Removing all the cellophane and once and trying to line up the film, working out the bubbles... no bueno. If you apply it carefully, it looks good. If you try to apply it quickly, it will have a bunch of squiggly bubble trails left behind. The unevenness will show and is impossible to fix. ... show more

Perfect opacity for keeping the things in my furniture cabinet hidden. I think it’s best for shower doors and the like. The installation instructions said to leave about an inch extra on all sides and clip off excess after installing. While I do think this is best to help avoid mistakes, it was difficult to do within the deeper glass frame, especially at the corners. Not all my edges and corners stayed adhered, even after cutting to the right size. But I was covering the edges with my tape design so it worked just fine. I know this isn’t the greatest pic but I want to say that I love how this film allows me to keep my blinds open all day 24/7. I live in an apartment complex and the neighbors windows and porches look right into my back sliding doors! Now I keep the blinds open and my cats love sitting next to the window and feel the sunshine! I recommend this product 100%. It was so easy to apply to the windo with water. And it’s not permanent!     • Works well. Gives privacy, fairly easy to install.
Did see a tip on how to peel backing from the actual film, which is kind of tricky. Place tape on either side of the corner which you are trying to separate the film from backing. I used heavy packing tape, not scotch tape. It helped to start off the process.

I do like the product but I do think that it's something useful if you need a quick fix. I used mine to line the shower doors in my bathroom. I am pretty satisfied with this product. We have a small window in our garage area that needed to be covered, but we didn’t want to install blinds and this did the trick!
