  • nice entry level scoot
Color: gray Size: 100F - 600W/17.4MPH/18Mi
nice little scooter for the price. no issues really, but you get what you pay for. i max out at about 20MPH. battery life seems to drain quick at times but i understand that its condition- dependent. overall its a nice little thing to have in my small town, especially not having a license. i can finally run to the gas station or small corner store down the way. it folds down which is nice, but it’s heavy so don’t expect to carry it long distances. the suspension is nice and one of the reasons i chose this one over the others. the app is nice and i like the ability to turn eco mode on and off. overall it’s nice little entry scooter into the life of electric scooter and bikes. it’s only been about a month or so and i’m already looking to upgrade though. ... show more

  • Scooter on the left
Color: gray Size: 100F - 600W/17.4MPH/18Mi
I got the 100f This scooter is built for safety it doesn’t go past 20mph which is fine. It’s a great beginner scooter I use a small u lock to make it immobile. I put reflective tape on it for more visibility. Get a helmet if your new I love this scooter!! People are saying there are issues with the tires, you have to check them regularly, once or twice a week. They take 50 psi so the ride is very smooth. I can go over bumps and small curbs with ease and confidence. I take it about 2 miles to work,(15-20 min ride) which uses one bar of battery there and back. I come home with 3 bars that’s enough for me to make some errands on the way home if need be. Takes like 3 hours to charge completely from 1 bar. And with these gas prices and inflation I personally only use it to get to work and small side missions. I love the safety mechanisms. Personally regen is a great help for me basically recharging the battery when I go down hills. And very convenient putting on the bus because the handle bars fold down. It’s about 40 lbs, not much for me but take that into consideration with your situation. I got it on sale for between 250-300$ definitely worth it. Saved much money and made much money. ... show more

  • Nonexistent Customer Support
I ordered a NIU scooter as a birthday gift for my daughter and made sure to order early so it would arrive in time. Unfortunately, what should have been a special day turned into a major disappointment. When we unwrapped the scooter on her birthday, it had about 30% charge. She was able to take it for a short ride, but after returning it was already down to one bar. When we tried to charge it, the charger’s light never changed from green to red, and the scooter simply would not charge. I carefully followed all troubleshooting steps listed in the owner’s manual, but nothing worked. That’s when the real frustration began. Attempts to contact NIU’s customer support resulted in being placed on hold indefinitely or hung up on multiple times. I finally went through Amazon, who thankfully helped me get in touch with the company. Even then, NIU has done nothing but give me the runaround. They have refused to stand behind their product or offer a straightforward resolution. As of now, I am left with a defective scooter and a very disappointed daughter. The product failed on day one, and the customer service has been worse than the product itself. I strongly recommend avoiding this company if you value reliability, accountability, or even the most basic customer support. ... show more

  • Good scooter, okay performance. + Good support.
As my first scooter, it has been a fairly good experience so far over the last ~3 months. While the battery life and max range are less than advertised, it still gets me to work consistently. The speed is great, and the suspension really helps with bumpy roads. I have never used the turn signals as the buttons are in a pretty awkward spot and most of the time my hands cover the lights so it is kind of useless. The only issue I have had so far is that in the second month the rear tire's valve stem started leaking air. The part request process was very easy and I got it within a week. However, I kind of messed it up when trying to fix it since it was kind of hard for me to get the nut out, so I opened up another ticket to send it in for repair. I sent the scooter back for repair on May 6 and received it fully working again on May 23. Overall I'm pretty happy with the scooter itself. It's great for the price. Tip: Keep the original box! I threw mine away and had to send it back with one of U-Haul's sport utility boxes, so they do accept it if you don't send it with the original box but it's still better if you keep it because it is a pain to find a box that you can put the scooter in comfortably. ... show more

  • Amazing Value
Color: gray Size: 100F - 600W/17.4MPH/18Mi
The Niu kqi 100f is an extremely high value scooter for the price. You get a high quality ride (as good as can be without proper suspension), the speed is more than adequate and so is the acceleration. Portability is great, when it folds it becomes quite small and slim due to the foldable handlebars. The dimensions are optimal for the average adult rider, also suitable for a younger riding who is still learning. App integration is great, you can keep track and control of all your Niu scooters with ease. Things like ride mileage, your speed modes and acceleration/max speed can be all monitored through the app which is easy to set up and connect to the scooter. Headlight is bright for night riding ... show more

  • Its disappointing - some issues - go with a different company
I’m a student who chose to spend the price of a semester of parking for this e-scooter .This was my first electric scooter and after a few months of everyday ish use (mon-thu) , here’s my experience with the niu 100f : - Since it folds, it fits in my trunk (18 accord) and I’m able to take it into some restaurants if it’s not very busy and fold it /place it under the table since there’s hardly any bike racks near them. It’s pretty fast to fold and unfold - Charging doesn’t take that long , I leave it charging overnight and it’s always 100% by the morning - I sometimes stay late and have to drive back to my car and the front lamp does illuminate the sidewalk enough to see the path and the blinkers are very helpful as to be seen when making a left turn in the left lane. It has a brake light too . - my campus is near a lot of restaurants / fast food places and I’ve found it very convenient that I don’t have to go to my car, wait 10 min in traffic just to drive around the campus , find a spot , eat, drive back and park again and walk all the way back to my hangout spot , when I can just go on the scooter, eat there and drive back to my spot , no waiting in traffic nor looking for a good parking spot just quick go and back . - the brake feels good, although I don’t use it much but instead the regen / off throttle - the “18” mile of range is not close to what I would get on a single charge . I pretty much only use the Sport mode since using eco feels so sloww. And with it , I’d get around 2.5-3.5 miles before the battery would get to around 50%. Which for me was like 4 0.7mile trips (kinda flat terrain) . Using eco mode limits you to like 9 mph which is when you’d get closer to the 18 mile range. If you drive on eco , not much of an issue. - the display /screen is a SCRATCH magnet . And the buttons are cheap. Since the handles fold , the screen is the point of contact with the ground on its side. My FIRST time I took it, I made the mistake of laying it on the screen side in my trunk and when I took it out, the screen and buttons where scratched / worn from sliding around. I ONLY lay it on the bell side now . - if you have to carry something big /bulky , it’s really bad since you need BOTH hands on the bar or else you fall . I have a reusable bag with me in case a situation like that arrises . Walking is the best solution in my case - I parked the scooter on my campuses bike/scooter racks, and sometimes when I power it on after unracking it, I’d get an error 02! And it would not let me use it . I believe it’s cause the tire fits in between the poles where the tires are supposed to go and so it rests on the brake lever next to the tire. The only way to get rid of the fault code for me was either waiting a while or moving the scooter back and forth white squeezing the brake . - Didn’t come with a phone mount so you have to buy one for like 25$ -You need an app in order to change some settings of the scooter like turning off kick to start - only solid place to secure a lock is in between the two holes at the base of the stem - I have had it overheat / lock me out due to driving it on grass 3-4 inch tall I haven’t had any BAD issues but just some that could be fixed . I don’t regret purchasing this scooter and actually wish I’d gotten one sooner instead of paying 550 a year in parking passes. It’s not perfect but not bad either . 6 Month update (8/26/26) : I've had the scooted for about 6 months, it was in storage for around 3 because of the summer break however there have been even more issues . - Since im unable to lay it on the screen side when folded, I would lay it on the bell side but one day after parking , I pulled it out and the bell had snapped off. There are 2 thin sections of plastic holding the bell and its attached to the brake as one whole piece so no easy way to fix it . This makes it to where theres no where reliable to lay it, only to keep it upright which isn't easy - First day of classes and I was riding back to my car when I hit a small bump and BAM it just here hissing and a flap flap flap noise. The rear wheel was flat and when I tried filling it with air, air leaks out the stem . So now I have to contact their support and it's not easy to find their support page or where to contact them. I'll update how it goes. - After so many issues within 6 months of owning it and for spending close to 300$ , I would not recommend this product. IF their support is excellent then it would be better but I've seen so many other reviews where they don't reply or help at all. There are so many bad designs on this that for a nice experience I'd say to go with a different company with good products and customer service. ... show more

  • Great option for the price!
Color: gray Size: 100F - 600W/17.4MPH/18Mi
So far so good! I bought this as a birthday present for my 13 year old. He loves it! Easily charges, love that the handles fold down, brakes well, and the tail light is really bright! It has turn signals that you can actually see, and the speed is just right for his scooting around the neighborhood. I would buy it again for sure! ... show more

  • My new favorite scooter
Color: gray Size: 100F - 600W/17.4MPH/18Mi
Just got the Niu kqi 100f and so far I love it. Folding handle bars, blinkers, front shocks, pneumatic tires, alarm system that locks the bike and sounds a signal. It has cruise control and goes 17mph. These features are usually found on more expensive scooters. My buddy has the segway e2 pro and he noticed a big difference in comfort and that my scooter was much more comfortable over road bumps. Very pleased so far. ... show more
