Overall it’s probably the best you’re going to find sub 1000. It’s fast. Scary fast. Charge is good. The app could be faster but it is what it is. It locks your scooter which is so helpful. Just a pain to unlock it sometimes. We’re talking sometimes 5 extra seconds for the app to connect to your scooter. Not a deal breaker but annoying if you’re using it everyday (doesn’t always do it). The WORST is the hard limit on going less than 25 MPH. If you get air going 23 MPH, your tires spin and for a moment you’re going faster than 25 MPH. When you land the safety feature SLAMS on the breaks to get you back down under 25 MPH. This ensures you fly over your handle bars. You don’t have to intentionally do get air. You could just hit a bump at “full speed” and if the wheels get off the ground and spin faster than 25 MPH, your breaks are engaged. It’s the most dangerous safety feature ever conceived. Note to manufacturer: make this “great idea safety feature” optional on the app. You’re seriously causing more harm than good.

All terrain. Tested on National, state parks and uneven city streets. Easily folds to fit your trunk or under your bed. The NIU app is user fry and helpful.

Ordered a NIU 100F ....well built but was showing Error code 39 on the first day (usually associated with a bad battery) would start to go up a short hill and stop before getting to top. Had to wait and let it cool before using to get home at 2-5 mph. Sent it back to Amazon. Just ordered a 300 X, unboxed and seemed to be built very well. Battery ran fine going up hills with no error code but throttle is super sensitive in S mode and will not allow you to hold a constant speed. Seems to jump in and out of power and this disrupts the balance of scooter. Going to play with setting in app but may have to return this one as well. Just a shame because there is a lot I like about the scooter but throttle reliability and rideability is a real issue. Suggest NIU test their scooters before shipping.

This mode is garbage. I had to swap out the first one within 2 weeks as it just stopped working, battery died right away. Replaced it no problem, and now I have ridden the replacement one 3-4 times maybe over a few months, and the other day it was fully charged, and I took it out and was 2 miles from home and it started going 6 mph randomly. Then slower, then slower, then slower until it stopped. I re-started it, tried every hard reboot option online, nothing worked. This model is junk, and I am outside the return window. Crazy frustrated.
