Features

  • Kernmantle Construction: The core of our rope was comprised of individual yarns which are bundled into plys. The plys then get bundled together to form the core. The core is where the rope will get a large majority of its strength and shock absorption from.
  • Lightweight and Durable: Our 10.5mm large diameter ropes are lightweight and very durable, making them a good choice for top-roping, lead climbing, trad climbing, caving, canyoning and more.
  • Popular Length: Modern Climbing ropes often come in 20 meters(115 Foot) to 75 meters(246 Foot) in length. The breaking strength of our rope is 25 KN.
  • UIAA Certified(CHN 19-5205): All of our climbing ropes passed UIAA safety standards. A certified piece of climbing equipment carries a UIAA Safety Label, which indicates the equipments compliance with UIAA standards.

  • Great rope
It’s great rope ! I’m 130 lbs and there is little to no bounce or stretch, the rope is very flexible. I’ve bought other ropes for your price and the outer sleeve bunches up as you descend witch sucks whin it balls up under my friction knot!

This rope kept my husband safe when he chopped down a tree in our yard. It was durable and kept him from falling. I recommend this rope.

  • Not the best for rock climbing.
Does what it says, seems like a solid rope. I've been using it for outdoor sport climbing. It does tend to coil alot when lowering, which makes for a jerky drop for the climber. Also make sure that you have a backup/ stopper knot tied as we've had a couple start to come undone because of the rigidity of this rope. ... show more

Great product. I really liked that it had details about the rope on one end which was sealed over with a plastic covering.

  • Buyer (and climber!) beware
Color: Green Size: Dynamic-45M(150 Foot)
We bought this rope for a small climbing wall, and from the very beginning the rope felt very squishy and loose in the core -- not what you should expect from a good climbing rope. It failed the "pinch test" immediately. (See the pictures attached to this review. The green/blue rope is a brand new X XBEN 10.5 mm UIAA Dynamic Climbing Rope. The orange rope is a 2-year old well-used Petzl 10.2 mm rope. Even after two years, the Petzl can't fold flat against itself -- it feels strong and solid. The XBEN rope, however, feels like it could break at any second.) Now, I know that the pinch test is designed to determine core failures in ropes, and that its primary purpose is to find spots on the rope that bend differently than the rest (nonuniformities indicating damage). This is not the case with the XBEN ropes we tested. The ENTIRE rope bends like this, so I am at least pretty sure that the core was not shot. But the loose construction leads to an enormous amount of sheath slippage. We tried the rope out on a top-rope barrel anchor, where the rope goes around a large metal cylinder. When the rope was weight loaded by a little kid descending, the rope deformed and flattened so much on the cylinder that the increased friction made it hard for the climber to get down. You could also see the rope seriously deforming in the belay device. The rope wouldn't even slide through smoothly on a simple descent. As a belayer, you don't want to spend the majority of your time fighting the rope. That's a bad sign. So, it guess the rope kind of fulfilled its fundamental purpose: it technically held the weight of a climber on a basic top-rope setup. However, I would never lead climb or whip on it. Even top-roping on it made me nervous. In the end, we returned the rope and went for a brand we trust. Thank you, Amazon, for letting us return it. When it comes to rock climbing, safety should always come first. ... show more
