I was excited to get this, liked the flat design and it worked great for about 3 months, now it leaks all over and the wooden hide it sits on is wet and discolored. Not happy, expected more from Nite Angel as I have a lot of their stuff and it has been great. My baby skunk refuses to lap water for some reason... I've had skunks before that never had that issue so I've been trying to come up with ideas to get her to drink water. Eventually, she will roam the house... but since she's so tiny right now, she has a portable pop-up crate. There's no bar...it has mesh on the side so there's nowhere to hold a normal pet water bottle... It was my dad's idea to see if they make standalone water bottles and that's how I came across this one. It's very sturdy since it's made out of wood, it was extremely easy to set up, (it took me two minutes) and she actually drank out of it!!!!!! I love how you can adjust the height. That was the main selling point for me. I know it's not made for skunks, but it's working pretty well for her! I put some double-siided adhesive tape on the bottom of it so she can't knock it over because she wants to stand up and lean on it. I'm hoping that works. If it doesn't, I will have my dad come up with another way to keep it sturdy for her...as it is not made for skunks who want to stand up and put their weight on it! I'm extremely grateful because I can sleep at night knowing that she's drinking water!

First make sure the flow from the ball bearing tip of the metal spigot is working properly (only lets water out when pressed on and does this reliably). This is very often defective in many of these water dispenser products. Because I had luck in the past with this product when I got a defective one with inconsistent water flow I sent it back and they sent me another one that has worked like a charm. I then ordered yet another and that one worked great too.

i was a LITTLE cautious because of some of the reviews but i’m here to tell u that it’s perfectly fine. it fits into my dwarf’s enclosure very well (it’s a work in progress) and she get’s water perfectly fine. The adjustability is super easy to use and it came in handy a couple of times as well so far! love her new bottle :3

I read all the reviews and still decided to purchase this water bottle set, regardless of the bad comments. I trusted the NiteAngel brand as I've previously purchased many of their products with no issues. The 1st order I received was covered in fuzzy mold! They sent a replacement, but I had to drive over to the ups store to send the moldy one back. Unfortunately the replacement ( 2nd bottle) is not working! I tried using only one metal ball, and even took the clear plastic piece located inside the nozzle out like others recommended, still nothing! I didn't overfill it with water and I tried shaking it to get the bubbles out like others mentioned...nothing worked! My hamster could've died if I was gone away & depended on this item as I should be able to!! I would like another replacement! I shouldn't have to keep driving up to the ups store to ship the item back multiple times! It should work the 1st time! I'm not sure if this was a defective product or not. I understand there's defects occasionally, but both times I've had issues!?? I wouldn't recommend this product! This water bottle set is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but possibly deadly for your hamster/pet!! **I will update my review if this order gets fixed and the product works correctly! UPDATE: I wrote my review and the seller responded within 24hrs! I replied back to their message they sent, and they responded back within minutes to make sure I was a happy customer. They seem to genuinely care about their customers & I appreciate that. They're sending me a new bottle out today, with no hassle of returning the defective product again. That's pretty good customer service! I'm extremely happy with how quick they responded & how they truly cared. I will gladly continue to purchase items through this company!

The ball bearings in the spout move smoothly, so even small micecan easily use it. It doesn't drip and it doesn't tip over. The materials and woranship are much better than the many other waterers I've tried.
