I wanted to wait and use the products several times before writing my review. After months of use, consistently and inconsistently, I can say that my hair did grow. I got this product because I was doing so much internally to contribute to hair growth that I figured doing something externally would help my hair on all fronts. The goal would be to grow my hair so fast that any damage acquired over time would be just at my ends and would be cut off at my next trim appointment. It worked! I can’t for sure say that It was just the shampoo and conditioner (I also got the deep conditioner), but I can say that this is quality hair care products. It definitely is moisturizing. This is the sulfate free formula as well. The scent was fine for me. I can’t explain what it smells like but if you are iffy about smells, you might think that this one has a pretty strong scent. Doesn’t linger out side the shower though. As for the price, that is completely up to you. I’ve heard about this brand for several years and the price has been the same. I’ve only recently been able to afford it because of my full-time work position. It’s not that expensive in the grand scheme of things, but it’s definitely more expensive than commercial and some specialized hair care. Do you own research before buying and using! ... show more

I had been trying all kinds of different Organix shampoos to try to get my hair healthy so that it could grow longer. For whatever reason, my hair would always end up either really greasy or it would begin falling out. A couple years ago, I tried this shampoo and conditioner and loved it. My hair grew probably double the rate it normally grew (my normal is about average). I used it until I ran out, but then I was on a low budget and couldn't afford to buy more. After enough time, I completely forgot about it. But then I remembered, decided to give it another shot, and I am pleased yet again. It doesn't dry my hair out. It doesn't make my hair greasy. It ended nearly all the random hair loss (you know, those strands of hair you usually find on the wall of a woman's shower or piled up in the drain🤦🏼♀️) and my hair began growing faster again. I have only used the product once. Overall, it smells good, kind of like a mild fresh, slightly citrus smell. There is little lather as with most sulfate free shampoos, but is rich and thick, and you do not need much. The conditioner seems to absorb right in and penetrates into the hair vs feeling slick like it’s sitting on top. It isn’t a slick feeling conditioner, but it left my hair feeling very moisturized and healthier feeling. I have thick slightly coarse wavy hair, and I’m trying to grow out my inverted bob haircut. I do not know if it will help it grow faster, but the formula makes my hair very soft like Pureology does, and it’s less expensive. If it really helps my hair grow out faster, I’ll continue to use this! Update: I used it for a month and I didn’t notice any change in the growth pattern of my hair. I was pretty skeptical that this would actually work but after reading the reviews decided to give it a try. Unfortunately I didn't take a before picture. I've been using it for about 8 months now. I don't wash my hair every day like they suggest in the instructions because I don't like to dry out my hair, but it's still worked. The conditioner can be a little drying over time, so I use another conditioner in addition to it about twice a week. I have always had fine, thin, slow-growing hair, and it's never been longer than my shoulder blades. I had my hair cut short to chin length a year ago. Normally that would take about 2-3 years to grow it out below my shoulders. After using this shampoo, it's already well below my shoulders and continuing to grow. My husband regularly says how shocked he is at how long my hair is. The only downside, if you could call it that, is that it makes my keratin treatment grow out a lot faster. ... show more

I wanted to wait until I finished the bottles to give my honest review. If you’re like me and devastated about the loss of length to your hair due to harsh chemicals from bleaching, you’ll try anything for any amount of money with much hope that it’ll work! I began using this product on April 26th, 2020 and documented my hair’s journey on that day. I used the entire product, according to directions (after shampooing, shampoo again- leave conditioner on hair for approximately 2 minutes after second shampoo) and it lasted me about 3 months (only washing hair 3-4 times a week). This product does not have a pleasant smell, but who cares if it works, right? It also dried out my hair and left a rough feel to it. As you can see, the change in color of my hair, despite the claim it is sulfate free. I took a second picture for a before and after for a conclusion of the product after finishing off the bottles which was on July 20th, 2020. In my conclusion, my progress with the use of this product was not progressive and did not deliver what is promised. There is very little growth, but I can’t confidently contribute it to this product. Note: in my ‘after’ photo my hair appears less dry, that is because I have in a leave in conditioner due to it. ... show more

Over 11 years ago, our 16 year old daughter passed away. She always struggled with growing her hair so she had me buy her this shampoo and conditioner. I would snuggle with her after she washed her hair and take in the moment and letting the scent help make this special time a core memory for me. After she passed away, I would wash my own hair with her shampoo when I needed to remember her smell and it would bring back the most beautiful memories. I’ve reordered in the past, but one bottle would last me quite awhile so having ordered for a bit. Well… the scent changed and when I washed my hair, I couldn’t smell Amanda anymore. :( I have thick hair that grows all too well, I always bought this for the memory of my daughter.
