Instructions are terrible

I will update my review if someone can help me with these lights. The drawings to show how to put it in mode 1 vs 2 vs 3 are terrible. They are not helpful at all. I'd like it to be in mode 2, but in the drawing for mode 2 the hand is in the way and I don't know how to put it into that mode! Very annoying.
