Honestly, I was pretty skeptical about these because every other floor lamp I've purchased has been wobbly or has fallen apart over time. I've also always purchased cheaper ones, so I decided to follow the reviews. Super easy to put together, no tools needed. The base is very heavy and very sturdy, the lamps not going anywhere unless you knock it over. I really like the lighting, there is a wide range of lighting options with these lamps and I didn't notice the bulbs getting hot. I really like this lamp. I considered others that were also attractive, but I chose this one because the others had a foot pedal switch. That most likely works for others, but in my case, the lamp is tucked between the couch and the wall and I didn’t want to have to wedge my foot back there every time I wanted to turn it on/off. Assembly was pretty easy. I will say it took me a minute to realize I needed to remove the little black plastic clips that separated the pole sections. They looked like they were meant to be there, but I discovered it’s impossible to screw the sections together with them intact. The instructions don’t mention them so I was unsure. But once I removed them, the sections screwed together easily. Comes with lightbulbs so that’s a huge plus. Lighting is adjustable. So overall, I’m happy I bought it ... show more

This lamp is incredible! The dimmer is so lovely, and the lamp can function as a bright light, all the way down to a barely there magical glow. Really warm feel despite the (gorgeous), more modern farmhouse design. I turn the dimmer up on down depending on mood; there’s such a great range, and I can even use it as a very chill nightlight which I have since getting it with a barely there (but still warm) glow. I spent over an hour and a half trying to screw my stand together. And when I was finished, the stand was wobbly which it should not be with such a heavy stand. My handyman came and tightened the stand, He assembled the rest of it. But there were 3 pieces left over that seem unnecessary. I'm disabled in my upper extremities so maybe that is why I had such difficulty. But in the end, I absolutely love this!! I love this lamp. It is the perfect height and it was extremely easy to assemble, I didn’t even need the directions to put it together. One unique feature it has was that you can dim the lights which I was unaware of. It can get super bright or be dimmed to a more comfortable setting.
