I am constantly surprised at the overall quality of products offered on Amazon. This one is no different. I was hesitant to buy a floor lamp without being able to see and touch it, but when it came I was impressed with the quality. This is really solid with a nice thick rod and heavy base. All the parts fit together perfectly and you can't even see the seams. the wire cages are very well made, and considering the price of light bulbs that were supplied, this lamp is only about $35. I love this lamp. I am close to 70 years old and not very good at putting things together. I put the lamp together quickly with no tools necessary. I love it's very heavy base. It's very stable.
