Lamp is nice & worth price paid. Assembly was fairly easy but 4 hands worked a lot better than 2 hands. The lamp shade came rolled up but was easy to assemble with the rings provided. I have never seen a lamp shade liked that till now but was impressed with the final look. I had ordered 2 since price was reasonable & glad I did. Works well and enjoying being able to dim the light. Assembly is mildly aggravating. Every section of rod is sleeved in plastic, and it takes a few minutes just to get the thing unpacked. It went together without a hitch, is solid, and looks great for the price.

Ordered two of these, was able to assemble both in under 15 minutes. There are no instructions for the shade part but it's easy enough to figure out. It comes with a bulb which is standard size so easy to replace when the time comes. LEDs are great because they are cooler (so no fire hazard), last a lot longer, and use way less energy. I really like the fact that this lamp and bulb are dimmable, so you can turn the knob and get just the right amount of light. The maximum brightness is pretty bright, not amazing. ... show more

The lamp is very nice and fits our space perfectly. However, it's very difficult to tighten the bolt on the bottom to make the lamp 100% stable. Even after tightening it completely, the lamp is a little wobbly and leans forward instead of standing straight up. Also, I was expected a warmer tone from the bulb. It came with a 3000K LED bulb, but we ended up switching it out to a 2700K LED bulb for a warmer tone. ... show more

Functionally it offers a bright light for reading or a low (dimmed) light for enhancing a cozy corner.
